Dont know why you feel the need diminish him in ROF. What you want him to do fight Freeza? Him and Piccolo were the best outside of Gohan.
You can ignore a DBS writer as if he doesnt know what hes talking about. You can say whoever wrote 89 didnt know what they were doing if thats how you want to look at it. You could also ignore the fact that Roshi hasnt displayed any of those powers since. Flight, flamed on ki,durability, increased stamina( as he was able to hold his buff form through out. Roshi was tired after using the flash attack on Preecho, he showed no such fatigue when he used it at 100% against Tien. And if he was at base Gokus level he wouldnt be hiding and using such attacks like the mafuba. He would actually throw some blows.) You could also ignore Toyotaro works closer with Akira than anyone else. Ignore all that. It doesnt make you right or having a good point.
And to bring up the achievements of someone eliminated by the time 106 comes around would be 7 episodes ago and compare them to people still competing is ridiculous. I see a lot of people repeating the same thing Krillin did this. As it some how is a negative to people still in the tournament. Roshi will surpass Krillin in episode 105, Piccolo will get there and so will Tien.
He didn't do anything that standout in Resurrection 'F' compared to everyone else. He had some cool moments, but so did everyone else, and I thought Jaco looked cooler since he couldn't fly and had only a gun, yet kicked as much butt as the ki user. If he wanted to impressed, he can fight an elite mook like Piccolo did instead of fodder.
He didn't write the episode and this is the same writer that said that Goku probably couldn't destroy the universe despite him nearly doing it in Battle of Gods. So unless you directly asked the person who wrote Episode 89 if Roshi was enchanted, that writer's word doesn't mean anything. The episode said that Roshi wasn't enhanced, it was his own strength and he got stronger. Nothing about him being enhanced. You can deny it until you're blue in the face, but those are the facts given to us in that episode. Roshi beat Tien with his own power. Preecho was probably stronger than Tien to boot since he withstand the attack while Tien got knocked on his butt.
And do you seriously believe Goku was going all out on Roshi in his base form. If you believe that, especially when the episode never made such a claim, there's nothing to say.
Yeah, Tien is still around and got less knockouts than a person who has been eliminated. Those are the facts as they stand. The rest is your assumption, which is fine, but don't pretend they're facts.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
It was never called 'light bullets' and light bullets suggests something being shot, not a speed version of the Kaioken (a move that increases one stats). Not helped that the show never called it 'light bullets'.RedHeat wrote:

My point, a lot of these previews have been wrong, misleading, or just outright lied. Like the preview for Hit made it seemed that Hit needed rescue from Dypso, but what really happened is that Hit got double team and he nearly beat Dypso on his own. That is not getting into the whole Krillin gets disqualified fiasco or Cali learning Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan.
Which is why I am not taking the preview on face value about Tien's role in Episode 106. Maybe Tien will show a new move and knocked out what I am assuming is the U4 bug and saved Piccolo and Gohan, but past previews make me weary about jumping to conclusions.

There is a chance super ends at 133, no matter how small it is, with a time skip and tying itself to eoz it can happen theoretically..
If that's the case, I fully expect another sequel to pop up soon but hopefully not too soon this time..

Maybe 133 will be the last episode of ToP/fillers after it, so they are breaking the blu-ray like that so the last episode isn't the beginning of a new arc.TheRed259 wrote:Japanese DragonBall Super DVD & Blu-ray Box #9:

Or maybe this Amazon listing has an error. I just can't see Super ending so early and the manga also has something like 8 volumes announced.

I think it means they know when Super will end so they're lining up the box sets to go with it. When the original 3 anime got their box sets, most had 6 episodes but every now and then some would have more or less due to the uneven episode count.TheRed259 wrote:Box #11 has 13 episodes of DragonBall Super instead of 12.

If Super will reach 200 episodes (I think it will) then 16 sets × 12 episodes is 192 so 8 sets will have to have 13 episodes or else they'd end up with an extra 8 episode set.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

Dude you care because you made it a point to have a back and forth with me. You made it a point to respond to something I said when originally you wernt part of the conversation. And you some how think you made a valid point. If nothing after validates Roshis powers in episode 89 then they are not his powers! In 89 he flys. 2 episodes later he says he cant fly. Why is that hard for you to get? Toshio who pretty much writes every 3 episodes wrote 104 and 107. I think he knows what hes talking about. I think he has close contact with other writers and directors.HeroR wrote:To hate something requires some level of care, which I have none for Tien.precita wrote:LOL, why do you even talk about a character then that you seem to have bizarre hatred for?HeroR wrote: I don't care about Tien. And I dont know why you continue to argue about ROF. Jacco did get hit. Go watch the movie again. Roshi got beat up the most and was out of breath. And we all know what happened to Krillin. So stop down grading Tien. For who he is he did great and better than those 3 period.
To the TOP, we all need to wait. But also understand this is the real arc to judge power. Because this is actually written by Akira.

No, we've already discussed it and the series isn't ending. Happinet seem have a history of random episode counts, they're probably just increasing the episode count, nothing more.TheRed259 wrote:Japanese DragonBall Super DVD & Blu-ray Box #9:

What different does that make? Besides, the only other character I said I don't care about was Yamcha, who isn't major characters. As for Vegeta, I don't like him, but I do care about him since he does invoked an emotional response from me unlike Tien and Yamcha.precita wrote: The difference is I notice you say this for many other major characters too, which characters on the cast do you actually like?

Part of me wants to see Roshi almost succumb to his hormones, only at the last minute he shocks Caway and the audience by having a solemn epiphany about what's at stake and severs his own gonads to remove the temptation. Some people complain about Super being too light hearted, well having a character resort to bodily removal as blood runs down their pants legs and onto the ground in a puddle would make for some starkly contrasting imagery to that opinion. Is this liable to happen? Obviously not, but I imagine a lot of people would probably have a new impression of Roshi if he did something like this to ensure his contribution to the team. To be fair, it technically wouldn't completely do away with the sexual hormones either since the adrenal glands also produce them.Basako wrote:Caway will bring us a Ranfan moment. Cool!! Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Well not me personally. I was just making a proposal that might satisfy those looking for something that's visually more daring. You know, something along the lines of Piccolo ripping off his own arm at the 23rd tournament or Cell absorbing that man in front of Piccolo.Whatever wrote:Wow you are way into hardcore stuff.....Lionel wrote:Part of me wants to see Roshi almost succumb to his hormones, only at the last minute he shocks Caway and the audience by having a solemn epiphany about what's at stake and severs his own gonads to remove the temptation.
