True, but this time he knows how strong Hit is. If hit didn't have his time skip against Vegeta in the first fight, it would have been a close fight. The time skip made Vegeta look weak compared to hit.

Hopefully Roshi has his shine tonight. It would suck if it's all gags the entire episode, I'd like to see Roshi take off his sunglasses just like the intro and get serious.

SSGSS Goku has proved pretty popular, it has already gone up price and kind of hard to find (separately) already, meanwhile Jiren is proving rather un-popular like a couple other of his merchandise, he is still available pretty cheaply, not surprising I mean he literally hasn't done much.

I agree. It's because so far Jiren's been more tell than show. People get excited about characters' feats and he doesn't have much to his name yet.

If one of the goals of this arc is to push Jiren merch, Shueisha should've had Toei include him in either the preliminaries or given him service during the prep eps. Toei did neither.

I think even Gokû Black had more show than tell when it came to making him appear strong. Not nearly as much love for Jiren coming from whoever makes the big plot decisions in the anime. I mean, I get it, Jiren's design and character imo are kinda blah, but they're getting paid to market the plot characters they're given and they're not doing the job much so far and by extension giving me and probably others little incentive to care about and want merchandise of this character. Maybe things will change later in the arc.

Krillin was taken out too early in my opinion, especially since the tournament has gone beyond Namek arc levels in terms of time. We're not even halfway through the tournament yet.

Yeah that is why I got some Jiren merch just for the potentiality that (and the fact it is pretty easy and cheap to obtain) Jiren blows up in a couple months time! More Jiren stuff is coming out next month and Goku vs Jiren doesn't look to be happening soon. Maybe Toei are like "trust us this guy is gonna blow up start marketing him early"? He is plastered all over the OP too... So strange.
