Probably. At this point I'm convinced that only fighters from U6 and U11 will eliminate U7 fighters. Fighters from the other universes who fight a U7 member will end up being W's for the main cast.Zamasu55 wrote:It's weird nobody from U7 is falling off.
I have a feeling at least half the team's going to get eliminated by one fighter in one episode. Jiren? Hit? Toppo? We'll see.

Also, Roshi not getting disqualified for using that jar was really lazy writing.

Yeah, he could've just aimed the Mafuba to outside the ring, like when Goku misses the jar and throws the Turtle in the ocean.

The Zenos are basically toddlers, they thought what Roshi did was cool so they let it slide, that's pretty in character.Hakaishin Liquir wrote:Also, Roshi not getting disqualified for using that jar was really lazy writing.

The problem is that the writers shouldn't have even created that rule in the first place if they were just going to ignore it. It seems like the writers only created that rule to restrict any of the other universes from using weapons, but they will conveniently ignore the rule if someone from U7 breaks it.ArchedThunder wrote:The Zenos are basically toddlers, they thought what Roshi did was cool so they let it slide, that's pretty in character.Hakaishin Liquir wrote:Also, Roshi not getting disqualified for using that jar was really lazy writing.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Roshi was great this episode. Got emotional a bit when Goku and Kuririn thought he died. Kuririn was even going to jump in the arena and disobey the rules. So Goku once again shows he does care for his friends (which was always the case)... Nah some will continue to claim he gives zero fucks about others.

Nobody has been disqualified yet for any rules violations. There's clearly a lot of leeway with it if Paparoni was allowed to bring his staff into the battle.Hakaishin Liquir wrote:The problem is that the writers shouldn't have even created that rule in the first place if they were just going to ignore it. For people saying Roshie should have been disquolified for using the jar, the rules was "No Weapons".
The Jar and his sun glasses are not weapons or even armour by any definition so they don't break the rules. We call that a loop hole not bad wrighting. The same goes for all the robots and cyborgs, many of their abilites are not natural and should be classed as weapons but they are a built in part of their body and likewise allowed due to another loop hole.

It was never defined what is considered a weapon, remember when Krillin threw his shoe and people were speculating that would be his DQ? I doubt a bottle would be considered the same, throwing a shoe has more weight for your argument though then again shoes or bottles aren't typically considered weapons. They can be used as such but then we would have to define EVERYTHING as a weapon due to that potentiality.Hakaishin Liquir wrote:The problem is that the writers shouldn't have even created that rule in the first place if they were just going to ignore it. Forgot about that. I have no idea about how they're gonna justify Paparoni using a weapon.BlueBasilisk wrote:Nobody has been disqualified yet for any rules violations. Anyway, it's a shame Roshi didn't die. His death would've shook the tournament and U7 team.
I hope he dies in the manga.
PS: Nothing against Roshi of course, but we need tension.

The Zenohs are toddlers, as long as they are having a funtime. They will allow it.
Thats why I think it was the Grand priest who made the rules in the first place.

Come on, man. You know if they killed off Roshi, people would be crying that was the only reason they brought him on the team.Zamasu55 wrote:Anyway, it's a shame Roshi didn't die. His death would've shook the tournament and U7 team.

I can easily see people getting mad about that.

Its not a weapon its a staff used to control the other fighters. I don't think Paparoni will use it as a weapon.Forgot about that. I have no idea about how they're gonna justify Paparoni using a weapon.

I'm pretty sure the rule was things that aren't part of their bodies. Technically the sunglasses could be considered armor but I could see that sliding like clothing so we aren't too worried over android 18s use. I'm pretty sure it was objects not weapons because they couldn't use sensui beans either.Lord Frieza wrote:For people saying Roshie should have been disquolified for using the jar, the rules was "No Weapons".

Plus there would be people calling it fake tension because we know Roshi would be brought back.Totamo wrote:Come on, man. Cane's are classified as a walking stick or an instrument of punishment. So again its allowed because a cane is not a weapon unless it has a hidden blade or built in weapon system.
