We're halfway there and only 14 minutes have passed in-universe! Whoo!

Only 40 Competitors Remain in the Tournament of Power

The OP has been updated to reflect today's eliminations.

I was shocked at how well he did, and thought Roshi did a good job. If he was eliminated tonight I wouldn't have been mad.

Outside of the Saiyans, Roshi has more eliminations than anyone else in Universe 7. He got 2 of those 3 eliminations in a single minute, what the hell Roshi.

Roshi said less than half the warriors remained before eliminating a couple.

This old man still got it,as expected of the man who trained the strongest mortal in U7.

He's actually tied with #18;

Aye, he did. However, we have no way of knowing or keeping track of that. As far as what has been presented to us, the audience; 50% of the competition is done, with 40 competitors and 34 minutes to go

I know, I just thought it was relevant to the thread, and if it's true, it would mean that there are in fact weight-carrying battles going on outside of what we see, which has been a commonly wondered thing. :D

Well some of U4 was already eliminated. So maybe he was thinking of them?

2. Nink (Universe 4) (0) was eliminated by Goku (Universe 7) (1)
10. Shosa (Universe 4) (0) was eliminated by #18 (Universe 7) (2)
11. Majora (Universe 4) (0) was eliminated by Krillin (Universe 7) (1)
31. Caway (Universe 4) (0) eliminated herself after being intimidated by Master Roshi (Universe 7) (2)
32. Darkori (Universe 4) (0) was eliminated by Master Roshi (Universe 7) (3)
33. Ganos (Universe 4) (0) was eliminated by Master Roshi (Universe 7) (4)

That's only a total of 6 from Universe 4

Because if you take out U7, there's only 34 fighters left. Less than half of 70 aka the competition.

We only saw 18 really eliminate two competitors, the third was off-screen. Roshi was responsible for 3 elimination on screen as well as making another competitor eliminate themselves, so I'd still put Roshi front.

When Roshi said "less than half are left", we can only presume he was referring to the amount of competitors that weren't from universe 7. So in other words, out of 70 opponents, only 34 remained.
EDIT: Dammit, Draconic beat me to it.

From the perspective of taking Universe 7 out of the equation, it's definitely adding up there.

Next week it looks like Dr Rota and Pran get some action, and Harmira seems to be the sniper

Hopefully that means we'll get into the the top 40 from there.

Tenshinhan better get a win soon or there won't be many weaker characters left for him to take out.

He already has one;

18. The Preecho (Universe 3) (0) was eliminated by Master Roshi (Universe 7) (2) & Tien Shinhan (Universe 7) (1)
