As I suspected, this will just be a fun TV Special. Though I'm looking forward to it, it's probably going to be fun and I think we will be getting some great designs. I also hope it will be a cross-over with OP so it will be 2 hours long.

Just saw it a while ago in a commercial. Its basically a history show that will use DBS,Chibi Maruko, Kochikame and One Piece.
As written it'll start at 9/9 (Sat) 6:30 until 9/10(Sun) 21:24.

First thing that popped into my head were Universe 6 Saiyans, since Renso too had samurai-ish clothes. A history special might not be... All that special. Maybe we have a cool Goku vs Vegeta swordfight, but I don't think it's gonna happen.

I heard it too, but I doubt they'll have the finale just yet. It'll probably just be the beginning of Goku and Jiren's fight, but I'd be glad to be proven wrong, and have the entire fight happen in the span of the double-length episode.
