Will Piccolo get anything from the Universe 6 Namekians?

So not only do you guys want piccolo to have a big powerup and really matter which he dosen't right now, but you also want it to look really cool and be unique in the process..

Basically yes but if I was given a choice to select a big power up and sacrifice for gohan or no power up and no sacrifice I will gladly choose the latter.

I've seen many people talk about ''namekian god" but I really doubt something like that is in store for Piccolo. Call it pessimism, but given previous treatment, I wouldn't be surprised if those two namekians have more to do with Gohan or Goku than with him. Why? Because the only episode Piccolo got leading up to the tournament was all about Gohan; his supposed increase in power happened off screen; you haven't seen him consider or evaluate his own power at all. Heck, even in the opening, the only shots he gets is him standing behind Gohan.

Either way, even if he were to get a power-up, we might not want it to happen here. It's just going to be overshadowed by whatever Goku, Gohan, Freeza, and Jiren will show.

Your first paragraphs arguments is destroyed becuase of what happened to Krillin. He got all those things you said and was out after 3 episodes.

What exactly are Gohan and Frieza going to show? The benefit of the power up is to future proof Piccolo from not being involved.

There is no way a Piccolo lookalike or Namekians in general has nothing to do with Piccolo. If Piccolo does not face them, then who does his fight?

It isn't just those episodes before the TOP, but the entirety of DBS up until now. He has been practically ignored. He wasn't even given those cool few moments against Shisami like in the movie. I'm just having a hard time believing the writers have any great plans for him

As for Gohan, Freeza, etc, it's not so much about what they're going to show, since I doubt they'll get some new power or something (unless Freeza fuses with Frost) but about how long they'll last. How big and impressive their fight is going to be, the power they will display, who their opponent is going to be. They've been promoted a little too much to not get a significant role in the apex of this arc.

That really so much to ask? Honestly, if he there is a transformation, but it comes at the price of making him look like a snapping turtle or something, then I'd rather he be ignored for the rest of the series.

Well assimilation is boring,in fact he should have shit out Nail and let him live his life.So if he gets a power up it better be a transformation like the red eyed form.
If its another assimilation then better no power up at all.
Character wise anything would do outside of him sacrificing himself for Gohan's mistakes for the 9000000000th time.

I would want him him to step out of way and let Gohan take the full force of an attack for once,sure it would be out of character but considering his current status as a character it would be something interesting for once.

Getting ot this arc or the next makes no difference to me but this arc will be more exciting.

I really do think the red eyed form has a good chance of been revealed.as Toriyama obviously knows about it and maybe with some influence from Toyotaro.

I just want to know why Toei are being so secretive when it comes to the Namekians.

The Namekians could show not tell. However, characters will always speak to each other even if they are enemies as proven throughout the histpry of Dragon ball. There is obviously got be a rivalry between 2 universe as well.

If they beat Piccolo easy then tbey must be strong so if they are that strong then Piccolo can be as well.

They've been taking concepts from the expanded spectrum this arc. The filler yadrat design, a tsufur, an equivalent of the LSS. So why not red eye whatever.
