Yamcha being called weak but haven't we saw him fight toe to toe it seems againt Olibu a guy who was on par with Paikuhan, the same guy who fought against Super Saiya-jin Full Power Goku ? But it's none of my business
As for the question What is Yamcha's voice actor doing well Tōru Furuya is kinda a profiecient VA he is voicing Amuro Ray from Mobile Suit Gundam, Sabo from One Piece he is also Seiya Voice Actor for Saint Seiya and Tuxedo Kamen/Mamoru Chiba for Sailor Moon. He is also Akared voice Actor the embodiment of all past Red Sentai Warrior.
But I can't find what he is doing in 2017 that's require so much work to do. Perharps he is writting his biography/memoire ?

Olibu was not on par with Paikuhan,Olibu gave weighted Paikuhan a decent match,not to mention all those characters are filler,so is yamcha fighting those guys anyways.

Well hopefully it means Yamcha is in FighterZ as a playable character and not some storymode thing like Baggie Sayain said. That would be the worst case scenario at this point.
But we still have that Toshio tweet about Yamcha's power being needed. Wonder what that is about.
