Is there a way to remove the spolier alerts so I don't have to click on them anymore?

No, that's kind of the whole point of the spoiler function. By requiring an extra, intentional click to reveal whatever the tags are hiding, it prevents people from accidentally reading or seeing stuff they didn't want to.

As far as I'm aware, there's no ability to "turn them off" in the user control panel, and if any such function exists as a mod or whatever for phpBB, it probably wouldn't be worth the time and energy to implement.

I, for one, would be more than happy to have them all removed from an individual standpoint.
