4chan. I hate that place with a passion.
At least you can say they're driven, didn't they find terrorists once for the military?
Indeed they did. I'm surprised that even happened.

That was their first fight.

Also the reason why Yamcha's death can't be compared to Goku and Vegeta getting humiliated is because Yamcha died, while Goku and Vegeta lived to get revenge.
Yeah, remember when Goku killed all those Cell Juniors, and Raditz?

Don't paint 4chan as some big bad boogeymen who would evilly cackle at a voice actor dying for... no reason at all. Outside of /b/ I highly doubt that anyone would be singing and praising her death. Even in /b/ it would be an EXTREME minority.

If Nozawa was some kind of asshole responsible for controversial things during her life time (like a Ted Kennedy or something lol) maybe you'd see people saying stuff like that, but given that's obviously not the case, there's no reason to assume everyone on 4chan is an edgy 13 year old who celebrates when people die because it's funny or something. People on 4chan are very harsh but they're not soulless heartless creatures that would celebrate someone dying for literally no reason at all.

Lol can you tell me what does 4chan even mean?
I prefer Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, DB/Z/GT Movies, Dragon Ball Super and Dragon Ball GT in Japanese.
For DBZ Kai and two new Movies I like both Dub and Sub. I Prefer Shunsuke Kikuchi Soundtracks over All other Composers.

They're anonymous imageboard websites. I guess you can think of it like a forum where everyone is anonymous but there are a certain number of pages to each thread and when it reaches page 10 (via no one posting in it) the thread gets deleted.

Since everyone is anonymous it brings out the worst in people, hence 4chan and 2chan are usually associated with assholes, but like I said these aren't the most evil people in the world who relish in other's suffering for no reason, they aren't people who kill kittens for fun or something.

With the current arc: People constantly spouting "Hey, there's two Namekians in the Universe 6 team. Meaning that Piccolo is guaranteed to survive until he meets them" No, Namekians being there is not a guarantee, it only bumps Piccolo's chances of staying longer up to a 'Maybe'. Because unlike with Goku, Vegeta and the Saiyans, Piccolo really has no narrative novelty with meeting another of his race, and it's extremely unlikely that Piccolo is going to get a power up in the middle of the tournament when until the latest episode he has only been Gohan's hype man in this arc.

I will forever be grateful to TFS for helping keep DB popular during the series' many years of inactivity, but the influence they've had on the fandom irritates me sometimes, for lack of a better term. I can't help it. The Gohan dodge jokes and Piccolo is Gohan's real dad crap is getting really, really old. I mean, it got lame pretty quickly to me, but now I'm finding it almost unbearable. Can't watch a YouTube video or read through a discussion thread on some online forum about Gohan and Piccolo without someone bringing either of these jokes up.

Really, you could say that for anything that gets popular.

I found a lot of their jokes to just be lame, like Mr. Popo and Nappa. Ughh. They have gotten better over the years, but their fandom certainly hasn't.

Reminds me of Yugioh Abridged with the whole "Childrens card game/Cardgames on Motorcycles" like yeah, it's a silly concept. Welcome to Anime, now can you make some actual jokes?

God, those jokes were never that funny to me.

One thing that grinds my gears about TFS is that KaiserNeko can be pretty arrogant and he treats his opinions as facts.

Still seeing the whole "Japanese Goku and English Goku are completely different characters" thing even in Kai videos. Also dub fans thinking Japanese Goku has always been a braindead moron 100% of the time, Super hasn't helped with this.

His character has regressed a lot in Super due to some writers who wrote Gokū like some retard but overall he's still more smarter in Japanese than English dub.

Holy crap, thank you! I don't get why people are so dismissive of Goku's intelligence in Z, Japanese or dub. He wasn't the smartest shed in the book, but he did have his moments. It was his idea to have Briefs build a backup ship incase things didn't go well on Namek, he was the one that figured out if Piccolo dies then so does Kami, and so do the Dragon Balls, and some of his techniques in general like the instant transmission-kamehameha.

Just because he was dumb doesn't mean he was pants-on-head retarded. And even still, I'd rather Goku evolve and have character development. All the justifications to have him remain this stoic, almost unlikeable person nowadays is frustrating. I don't care how the character acted 20 years ago, that was 20 years ago! I'm not expecting him to be Einstein, but I'm also not expecting him to be Dragon Ball Z Abridged Goku either.

Then again just because something's more accurate doesn't mean it's better just because of that fact. Sometimes I just prefer the dub version of Goku, his speech to Krillin about letting Vegeta go in the original dub makes a lot more sense, and would seem like something than would actually convince Krillin. If Super Goku is the "right" Goku, I'd rather be wrong.

When was Goku ever stoic?

Except that it's not his character. He is the kind of character who would let the bad guy go for the sake of a fight.
