I still say the original characters based around a "meteor" storyline aren't happening. We'll just wait and see but I'm confident tomorrow's scan will prove me right.

That translation was already discarded a while ago. The original characters being refrenced now are ones mentioned by a Bandai-Spike rep in an interview that are apparently original fusions.

<Kaboom> I'm just glad that he now sounds more like Invader Zim than Rita Repulsa
<Xyex> Original Freeza never sounded like a chick to me.
<Kaboom> Neither does Rita
<Xyex> Good point.

I really want Tiencha back, he was such a cool fusion. Playing as him in Budokai 2 wasn't good enough as he didn't last long enough to have a lot fun with, but if he was in Tenkaichi 3 it would be great. Maybe he is one of the possible "original" fusions?

Metal Cooler is one shiny bastard. I wonder if he uses Turtle Wax.

I don't know if this has been posted already, but the Pal version is going to have a different boxart :

Judging from this one (near the end of the video) they haven't changed a bit of Majin Vegetas final explosion attack...
Just like in BT2 he says goodbye to everyone, blows himself up and after that stands there laughing - it just seems kinda wrong to me :/

Aw, I'm sad there's no adult Chi-Chi. She's one of my favorites from Chou.

That and I wanted to make a team with the entire Son family + Bardock. :(
On hiatus.

They added the energy rings around his aura before he explodes, just like in the manga. I thought that was cool.

Arale and Blue?

Post by Lord Moonstone » Tue Sep 18, 2007 9:56 pm

I found this at the Atari forums.

Image

NO clue what to make of this. I'm really hoping it's real, but I can't shake the 'shopped' feel. Especially the flowers in this image, which, as far as I know, is the only version of this image out.
I'm leaning to fake, as much as I'd like it to come to be.

Sorry for putting this in this thread, if it belongs in fakes. Thought I'd put it here first since I don't know what to make of it. Looks too real.

I'd kill for that to be real.

I'm in the generation of fans that started with Toonami, so I totally empathize with the feeling of having "missed the party", experiencing disappointment, and wanting to experience it myself. But I can't, that's how life is. Time is a bitch. The party is over. Kageyama, Kikuchi, and Maeda are off the sauce now; Yanami almost OD'd; Yamamoto got arrested; Toriyama's not going to light trash cans on fire and hang from the chandelier anymore. We can't get the band back together, and even if we could, everyone's either old, in poor health, or calmed way the fuck down. Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.

No fucking way. That's fake.

Besides, Kid Kururin gets a spot way before Arale does.

Aside from the flowers it looks pretty real.

*Edit*
Actually Blue's portrait looks more like Nouva Shenron or something. Maybe it's fake.

There's gonna be a new scan released tomorrow, no? This mystery will be solved then, hopefully.

Come on Kid Kuririn!

Yeah, um...Why do people like Arale again? General Blue is good, but Kid Kuririn for the win.
