I still think Super is pulling the wool over our eyes with its episode title. I mean, where would Goku (or Jiren ) get the energy needed for the Genki Dama in the first place? I think Super is pulling a fast one. Super has had grossly misleading titles in the past to manufacture intrigue and I think this is just another case of it.

I'm really interested to see how this Spirit Bomb plays out. If they play their cards right, we might be able to get an explanation why Trunks was able to do that random attack against Zamasu. If they're related.

This sounds like he stores his ki without unnecessary movements or conserves his ki until it's time to start releasing power..

My interpretation is that so far he hasn't used any energy and therefore, now he is showing his true power.

Trunks took the energy into one point and cut Merged Zamasu with it after absorbing it. Goku threw the freaking thing.

No it doesn't. They said someone pure of heard 'could' deflect, not that can, especially 'easily'. You can also be a good person without being 'pure of heart', just as you can be a bad person and pure of heart. For example, Zamasu was pure hearted.
