So who are the important characters in the TOP beyond the fodder?

So as we know 90% of the opponents in the TOP are just fodder. Who do you consider the important characters?

It seems to me these are the ones with or will have the most story focus:

- Jiren
- Toppo
- Dyspo
- Hit
- Caulifa and Kale

Are the most important story-wise.

After them I'd say:

- Ribianne
- The Yardrat (since they seem to be saving him and he didn't get knocked out easily)
- The Trio de Dangers (while they're already gone, they got huge focus in the exhibition matches and in their U9 ep)
- Frost
- Cabba
- Possibly the two Nameks


Even Botamo, Magetta, etc. seem like they're nothing more than fodder. Dr. Rota was literally treated as a joke. Everyone else is a one episode fight.

With that said, STORYWISE and I do Mean by the Story, I you hit pretty much all the ones that are going to be Important that we can assume at this point that are not apart of Universe 7.

I think they ALL will end up being important by the end of this is some form or another but maybe in ways we don't expect yet.

Their can also be others we are not aware of yet, Toei could pull one from the rankings we are aware of yet and make them important or a mystery character we are not aware of yet, it is all up to Toei and their writers. But Indeed I Agree;

The Trio de Dangers where important in setting up the Dangers and Stakes and Drama in this Arc, don't know how they will push anything else further as they are dead right now, but who knows.

Others Like Rozie could be important, but it is up to Toei to decide that.

Anyone else is Up in the air, but I would LOVE an out of Left field Surprise Character(s) to be made to be important to the story.

Just follow the story the best you can and you will find the answers on who will most likely be the most important by the end of the ToP.

Being there to counter Hit doesnt make Dyspo otherwise worthless. I don't know if they will use him but just keeping up with Hit makes you a major player potentially.

I think you got it the other way around. Maji=Kayo probably challenges Jiren but Dyspo comes in to beat him to a pulp.

I think it will put over whoever eliminates the other. Maji actually looks strong to where Dyspo beating him would be a feat.

Dyspo kind of reminds me of Rammot from HxH but not evil....they have the same progression so far of fighting the heros, not being strong enough, being saved by a comrad and vowing revenge. Also they both look like Rabbit people and have somewhat similar vocal inflections.

Cause of the Same Reason Goku Does not Go Super Saiyan or Blue all the time even when the battle calls for it or Why Jiren and Toppo with ALL their Hyped Power Keep Holding back~~~~Stamina!

Yea it has it holes that I agree with many on, but it is the one element that Toei keeps falling back on nearly as much as fighters letting their guard down , it is the excuse they give as to why they will not go to a higher level. That is one Thoery I have, but one that is a constant in this Arc, for good or bad reasons.

Precure almost always has a 2nd, more powerful transformation that shows up in the latter half of each series (sometimes there's even one more ultimate transformation after the 2nd one) so I wouldn't be surprised if Ribrianne has a more powerful form she hasn't shown yet.

This is My Theory as well Going with Precure as you Said and Sailor Moon, their was always a 2nd Higher level of power Achieved but really mostly after Great Challenge and Lost came-upon them. It was Power achieved in the darkest times, so I expect Ribrianne will got threw this as well, a combo of losing her fellow Universe 2 Teammates and the Increase Power Levels both Jiren and Goku will show!

Again all theory, but as you said one that we find allot in Magical Girls Shows!
