Arale and Blue, Goku's Super Genki Dama, Gohan's Orange Gi from movie 9, the awesome-looking opening, the rocking theme, Freeza's transformation from 1st form to 2nd, and Gogeta's EXACT ultimate attack from Budokai 3.

 HOLY. HELL.
Next quest: Buy the Super: Broly and Super Hero Blurays, also Daima whenever that releases in the states. Also the Super Manga!

As for people moaning about it? Uhh what? It's not as if these are proper RPGs with solid original plots, they are just fighting games with some still picture cut scenes. In Japan Arale is as famous ( if not more) than Goku.

Gokuh appeared in some Shin Dr. Slump episodes.

Arale is important for the Dragon Ball mythology.

This guy is awesome. See how he focuses on the good things instead of pissing and moaning about what they didn't do?

I'm really looking forward to Arale. X3
She's gonna be awesome to play as.
Also Viz is releasing its Dr. Slump way too slowly. TT_TT But that's neither here nor there.
On hiatus.

You are so right...I'm still missing volume 12...wait thats not the point of this topic.

Anyway Yes Arale is going to be very fun. I'm baffled at what moves she is going to have. I really hope they involve other Dr.Slump characters. How about a Carmelman 007 alt. Costume?
Aro started to laugh. “Ha, ha, ha,” he chuckled.- Actual quote from Twilight

Finally! Somebody notices! :D

Really, why do people even moan about this game? Look, just about everyone wanted GT Goku, and we got him. Arale and Blue were also wanted. We even got Future Gohan. So why the Hell are the guys on Atari's forum STILL moaning? Oh, just because Future Gohan uses only 1 arm for his attacks, and he doesn't have an only 1 arm costume, this game is gonna be hell! Just be thankful that you actually got who you begged and pleaded for, you whiny bitches! Just because everything isn't perfect does NOT mean that this game is gonna suck, cause it isn't. At all. I think all of the new additions is going to make this the best Dragonball game ever created! :)

Back in my day all we had was games like Hyper Dimension, with about only 8 characters to choose from, no in game transforming, very few attacks and in 2D, we didn't have any fancy special effects or 3D technology and the game was still fun and we considered ourselves lucky to have it! Dern kids!

Hyperdimension is the only DBZ which energy attacks are all of them from the series. Not invented for the game.
Even Boo transformations (flying, ball...)

I am soooo excited for this game. I'm happy Dragonball is getting a strong presence in this game. The Atari boards over-reacted(like i predicted) when the last two characters were revealed.

The Atary Boards are DBGT fans.
I don't know why we continue reading them :P

Just watched the last Promotional Video in its entirety. Looks like you can take control of the villains at some point of the story. Example, Second Form Freeza's icon's on the left side of the screen when the battle quotes are being displayed. The new characters should be fun to play with, although I am more excited to play as some of the old cast with their tweaked fighting mechanisms and blast moves. Arale? I might've caught a few glimpses of the anime several years ago in Taiwan, but I don't remember much about her except that she's crazy.
Kunzait_83 wrote:And finally regarding the "reaction" on the Atari boards - Those people need some serious counseling. The melodrama being raised over something as harmless as Arale and Blue's inclusion in a freaking video game is so unwarranted its mind blowing.
I understand you, dude. I have just gone to the Atari Forums lately and I just couldn't handle many of the "unenlightened fans". The fact that they keep repeating the line "SPike haz phailed leik a pHalure" makes me wonder why nobody is happy about what Spike did for this game. Plus, I just got flamed for stating my opinion on how GT was nowhere near popular as the DB and DBZ arcs. And the follow-up comment on how Dr. Slump was popular in Japan got me flamed further more. So you can say that I'm practically an overcooked cannibal food.

I read them because, unfortunately or fortunately, there's a dude (a polite one too) on that forum seems to always receive news ahead of everybody else. It's quite worth my while to skip the typical "OMGZ DR. WHILO SUX @$$" to get some news early.

I'm not going to gripe about the game, although I must mention that even though I'm extremely appreciative about how they improved the special effects, they didn't seem to improve the character models all that much. More facial expressions and less rigid video-game-breathing-up-n'-down would be nice. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to it.

First of all, on the topic of One-armed Gohan. I say he is an alternate outfit. The pallete swap could be a placeholder for it.
Doesn't the yellow outfit also change the symbol? I don't think it's a placeholder. The one-armed costume might be an unlockable in story mode, like Goku's costumes in B2, but I don't see why they'd keep that costume's existence so secretive if it really existed. His generic throw animation also worries me, of course.

In any case, It's not a big problem, it's just that F.Gohan will lose a bit of his uniqueness.

I'm really excited for the "what ifs" that they've revealed so far, especially Akkuman fighting Mecha Freeza and #8 facing #16 while talking about protecting Goku.

Jesus, these kids on the Atari boards and their whining. Some of the better and more obscure characters are playable. Wahh, wahh...

Fuck man, I've been watching DragonBall longer than most of them have been alive. I'm ecstatic.
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!
