No, I still believe he'll throw out 20+ characters when he starts to make his move and hype him up.

I wan't to know what triggers Jiren to move into action. Is it because Goku and Ribrianne do something during their fight to annoy him and maybe Ribrianne does her heart thing that annoys him and that is why he ends up going over to them.

Is Cabba ever gonna fight?

He has knocked 2 people out by and will get more time but the real question is where are the Namekians?

Sometimes Super's references to Dragon ball and Dragon Ball Z feel, well lazy to others.

Though I don't remember the anime doing this very often.

I'm now certain that Jiren is the mortal they were talking about that is stronger than a Hakaishin given that SSJB with its strength and speed amplified by twenty can't get the job done. I have to admit, watching a spectacle like that will be quite a awesome rush and I can't wait for it.

Same way Trunks got his Genkidamda mode, and tbh it makes sense if Goku new transformation if the Genkidama mode, Goku saw how Trunks chopped Merged Zamasu in 2, the same guy that was a God-tier.

Goku has to surpass Vegetto too in order to defeat Jiren.

What I believe or at least hope will happen but their is good framework to support this;

Goku and Ribrianne will be lighting it up, the fighting levels, like no one else so far in the ToP!

Ribrianne and Goku will been shown to Jiren to be worthy threats and this could be one, not the only I suspect others as well, as a reason he will not hold back anymore!

Here's a fact. You all completely forget about what happened when Goku fought Toppo. Bermoud(?) asked Toppo if he thought he could beat Goku in the tournament and he says he doesn't know, but his friend Jiren is stronger than him.

Why the heck would Bermoud(?) care about how strong Toppo was if Jiren was the guy Whis was talking about? He wouldn't even care about the competition if he know there was a mortal in his universe that could beat him. It's an automatic win. Not to mention he showed no evidence of even knowing who Jiren was.

IF Jiren happened to be the guy they were talking about, then they'd be REALLY bad at writing scripts. It would make them look incompetent. What I said was a fact, not speculation.

Without overthinking everything (like everyone tends to do) it makes more sense for the guy they're talking about to be in one of the exempt universes. You know. The universes that aren't filled with weaklings?
