I was hoping they get their spotlight started before the Goku/Jiren thing went down but now they seem to be happening after that, so what does that mean I don't know, but I Do Hope if means Piccolo and the 2 New U6 Namekians are of more importance then we original thought maybe?!

I mean surprising as in a good surprise not a bad one. They could have a factor in how things go but I doubt it and they are probably being saved until after the special.
The one thing I don't get is that during episode 96 they pointed out the Yardratian but no one on Universe 7 pointed out Namekians on team Universe 6 even though 1 of them looks identical to Piccolo.
There are 3 mysteries right now:
1. How does Goku get his new form
2. The Namekians
3. The Bugs from Universe 4
Beerus points out thr number problem of Universe 4 so they could be showing soon.

Do you mean the Paparoni from Universe 3 or the yellow guy from Universe 2 who is most likely the tuffle.
The other mystery is probably the Tuffle. Your last point isn't really a mystery though.

That actually might be most interesting thing regarding the role of these U6 namekians; not only were they hidden from us, but I from the characters as well. I seriously doubt they wouldn't have had either Piccolo or someone else from U7 not mention anything otherwise. Might be that Hit and the saiyan girls stole so much attention that they didn't think to look who was standing behind them.
Had their presence been given even the smallest nod before the tournament, no one would've wondered so much about them.
My god, this is retarded! I get it Goku got used with Kaioken + Blue combination, but remember the way he suffered after using x10 against Hit? Now he is trying x20 against Jiren? This is just too much!
Is Jiren by any chance Beerus level? DAMN IT!

I Agree Chuquita, I was expecting they would finish their battle 17 and Ribrianne before she did anything with Goku, I still find this fight surprising cause of how early they are making it.
However, it has a Good Point to it, I already Expect Ribrianne to be one of the Unknown Strongest in the ToP, so I am Hoping that Toei shows that as well and Goku vs. Ribrianne will light Up the Levels of Power like we have not see yet!
That leads into Jiren finally getting serious as well. He will interrupt their Fight as the spoilers seem to give and again we will not get to see how far Goku vs. Ribrianne could go, but what we get I feel will be the opening to the main and final 3rd act.
We have to wait and see.

I can't believe some people didn't even notice that there was 2 silhouettes behind Hit or if they didn't why wasn't they wondering where the other 2 Universe 6 fighters were.?
There are some people who don't even realise that there are Namekians because they missed them when they appeared on the Godpad twice for about a second.

No Shaq. Not the same thing at all. Piccolo and the U6 Namekians have much more in common. One of them looks like Piccolo, and they are the same species. We haven't seen Namekian warriors in so long. In the Namek Arc Toriyama was able to bring Piccolo back from the dead and add him into the story. I'm sure the fact that the protagonists were fighting on Piccolo's homeworld had a lot to do with that decision.
All of that has a lot of connection with them then Tien making an odd statement about him being able to sense bugs he has nothing to do with or has any connection to them.

For Goku to get a new form the person Goku fights has to be stronger than his current form.
