Maybe the Omni Kings get bored of interruptions to Gokû vs Jiren so they erase the rest of the competitors? I dunno. I keep thinking this arc is going to have a consequence-free ending where everything is wished back with the super db's. It's why I haven't been able to get worried for anyone in the arc.

I think it's pretty obvious that the "something terrible" comes from Goku. You have the teaser for the transformation saying that "the work of the Gods is over," you had plenty of hints during the recruitment arc that Goku's been acting off and is hiding something. I mean, I don't know what else anyone is expecting.

I thought the something terrible was going to play into Goku's new form, but not necessarily something Goku himself does.

not seen the episode though so can't judge it yet.

I suppose if it was done in a sort of you're gonna distract us as we don't want to see a comrade die on the battlefield sort of thing.

That is interesting. It said only 4 people were going before the special. But U7 and U6 both also were said to have 8 people but both are down to 7.

Wow, they actually made Frost an actual pragmatic badass! But GODDAMN, the episode could've been much better had Frost successfully eliminated Vegeta and Roshi.
