I'm starting to think whether or not a character gets a "fair treatment" depends heavily on who is in charge of the episode. A better story board and direction can make or break an episode. Tien got unlucky I guess.

Freeza obviously won't, but Frost has a possibility if the writers feel they're done with him after 2 eps.

Krillin role is not close to gohan
Gohan has been named the leader of his team and his training with piccolo not mention his potential that's been hyped right up the ass in this arc along him wanting to achieve a new form screams him going very to the top 5 or 10 fighters standing

No, hit was silently waiting for his turn to come, observing his opponents and he had already impressed all of us with his design.
Also, hit already squashed Frost before his fights.

On the other hand, Jiren has been in the battle royal since last ten episodes and is still vacuum of charisma.

Jiren comes off more like Brock Lesnar to me.

That's what I was thinking, too. Jiren is so like Brock Lesnar in the fact that Jiren is a freak of nature and is built up a mysterious entity with an undetermined amount of raw strength, that even if you haven't seen him in action, you should fear nonetheless.

Jiren isn't even remotely Brock Lesnar. Brock Lesnar has a massive back-story / history tied to him - former NCAA champ, UFC HW champ, former WWE champ, and what not.

On the other hand, Jiren is in the team which claims to serve Justice (a.k.a. the shield), has no manager to cut a promo for him, and he's being pushed hard, can't say more than one line "It's over" "Get lost" "This is my yard" "Believe that", dresses in his Justice serving team uniform, and thinks that fighting the main character is beneath him. Brock never called cena beneath him. Oh, and Brock is actually over.

I would love for Goku/Cena to go over "Ji-reigns the grey".

If you think about it, Broly is more like Brock Lesnar than Jiren is.

That or Barun Strowman

Definitely Brock, from the Stomach issues, to only being compelling when they got a mouth piece/mastermind next to them (Cause when they speak it's a fucking disaster), to using the same tired ass moves.

Holy moly the combat experience is amazing! It's a closed beta right now and it's a pain to practice learn combos against other players, but it's fucking awesome nonetheless..
This is what XenoVerse was lacking..
Also, teen Gohan and his chain Rocks!
Android 18 can also get real dirty if played right..

How the scene will most likely go:
Frieza fires a death beam at Gohan
Gohan flinches, ready for it to hit
The beam is hit by a gust of wind that veers it off course, before bouncing off of different parts of the tournament stage (Death beams can do that now), whizzing past various fighters until it manages to go straight through Piccolo's back on the other side of the stage.
