Why is that? It's an infinitely better option than Vegeta of all people going out, if that's who you've been refering to.TheDipDap1234 wrote:I hope Piccolo and 18 won't be the next ones to go out.

It would be very predictable. I would much rather prefer someone like Gohan or Goku going out, but this is just my opinion.GodVegetto91 wrote:Why is that? The ED has finally been dis-proven, however it certainly seems that the OP has too.
Looking at HD screen caps;
One Star Dragon Ball (Krillin)
Two Star Dragon Ball (Piccolo) and the Three Star Dragon Ball (Master Roshi)
Four Star Dragon Ball (Tien Shinhan) and the Five Star Dragon Ball (#17)
Six Star Dragon Ball (#18) and the Seven Star Dragon Ball (Frieza)
So Krillin was number one, that's a given. But Piccolo is number two, and Master Roshi is number three. Tien is Four, and so on. Clearly not the order of elimination

If Toriyama was to go the standard boring way. It would go 18, 17, Piccolo, Gohan, Vegeta, Goku with Frieza going out at some random point or cpntinues to betray.TheDipDap1234 wrote:It would be very predictable. Will Goku actually still be in once his fight with Jiren is over though?
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
If Toriyama likes to pride himself on being unpredictable then he should be willing to offer up someone with a substantial presence in Universe 7 as an elimination pawn to prove that anything can happen in this event and in his writing in general. Vegeta would be a prime candidate for this occasion since he's one of the most powerful characters in Team U7 yet lacks the same amount of developmental intrigue to the whole event like Gohan or Freeza do.

Vegeta losing to Jiren in the special before Goku faces him wouldn't be a surprise and people seem to forget that he has to fall eventually and since many in the fanbase have convinced themselves that only Jiren can do it it would be no surpuse if it happened.Lionel wrote:If Toriyama likes to pride himself on being unpredictable then he should be willing to offer up someone with a substantial presence in Universe 7 as an elimination pawn to prove that anything can happen in this event and in his writing in general. Also remember something 'terrible' is going to happen and it involving either Vegeta, Gohan or Frieza would be no surprise.

I'm glad they didn't give away the elimination order like that.

Does anyone think the poster made a mistake with there being 32 fighters left at the start of episode 109 as the rest of the information seemed to describe episode 107.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
If Frost betrays Frieza then Frieza will most likely take him out. Frost's luck is stretching pretty thin right now. It looks like Gohan might still be fighting Frieza going into 109, so I wouldn't be surprised if one of those two goes out either unless Jiren eliminates them both. I'd almost bet on Gohan if that comes to pass. It would strike a blow against team U7 during a pivotal moment and having to in-fight against one of their own members would leave the team at a serious disadvantage. Frieza tearing his own team apart from the inside would certainly count as terrible, wouldn't it?
It might have been deliberately misleading to cover up any upcoming surprises. There are still 33 fighters left right now iirc, but U6 and U7 don't have 8 each.namekiansaiyan wrote:Does anyone think the poster made a mistake with there being 32 fighters left at the start of episode 109 as the rest of the information seemed to describe episode 107.

The poster also mentioned about Beerus talking about the numbers left on team Universe 4.BlueBasilisk wrote:If Frost betrays Frieza then Frieza will most likely take him out. Frieza torturing Gohan will be 'terrible' to Goku and could make him transform.
I believe that not all 4 of Goku, Vegeta, Gohan and frieza will come out of the special still in.

Thinking about the Master Roshi elimination scene...
I think it might have been interesting to see Roshi -try- to die in the ring to eliminate Frost near the end. Then have Vegeta say the same thing but shove him out.

We know Goku won't transform next episode. And Beerus talked about the numbers left on U4, when he noted they still haven't seen 2 of their fighters.namekiansaiyan wrote:The poster also mentioned about Beerus talking about the numbers left on team Universe 4.BlueBasilisk wrote:If Frost betrays Frieza then Frieza will most likely take him out. I think Freeza will only fake being a traitor for U7. He can't change teams, so he must stay with U7 fighters until the end.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
He won't next episode, but the preview for 109 (for whatever that's worth) says that Gohan's involved in a tough battle while Goku is still fighting Brianne. It seemed like that might be Jimeze since 108 mentioned Gohan fighting him and Frieza having a laff at his struggle, but the way things appear right now is that that fight could be Gohan vs Frieza, which would be pretty intense. We already know U4's two missing warriors are the cicada twins so he's not jumping ship to them. Not that he needs to, as he could still be a traitor while being on U7's team. If Goku and Jiren are out, Frieza has a pretty solid shot of winning.emperior wrote:We know Goku won't transform next episode. There's always the possibility a third party could intervene and Gohan is fighting them, of course.
