What if some of us just don't give a fuck? (like me)

Lets just end this discussion now and go back to talking about the sets. So MV, stop attacking every positive opinion of Season 3. We don't like arguments related to these sets. They're getting old. So just stop it.

Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Then you play right into Funi's money grubbing hands and you are contributing to the issue, your past equivalent would be the dubbies going "OH EM GEE BE GLAD DBZ WAS DUBBED PERIOD GUYZ I KNOW THE CENSORSHIP SUCKS BUT ITZ IN ENGLISH!"

I do a lot more reading on these forums than posting, but I feel the need to put in a few words.

Look at what these sets have been doing to the only decent dragonball community on the web.
They are tainted and must be destroyed.

I like these sets. Get mad at me, call me an idiot, I don't care. I hate poeple like you that act like people like me are ruining the franchise. It's such a stupid elitist attitude.

Chill out. If someone wants to spend their hard earned money on the sets, then let them. Funimation is putting a stop on all the old episodes,so many of us don't have a choice.

That is exactly my point, we need to speak out soon or else we're stuck with these shitty masters forever. Some could argue the damage has already been done in which case say goodbye to any decent release of Dragonball Z DVD wise. But of course everyone is buying this awful box set leading Funimation to believe that they are doing the right thing.

Once again: you are playing into Funimations hands buy taking whatever they feed to you like sheep. Ever think of holding out for more then missing lines and off colors? Of course not its Dragonball so anything connected to it merchandise wise must be the best it can be.

But I can't persuade your opinion on this mess so I'll just say
"A 9 year old is born every day" and end it here.

Exactly. I know Funimation ain't giving DBZ a decent release. Why do you think I am scrambling to buy up the old Dragonball sets? I will NOT buy Dragonball in widescreen. But for DBZ i really don't have a choice. Besides, have you guys sent Toei Animation a copy of the season sets? They would have a fucking heart attack if they saw them.

DELETED, was pointless.
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
I'm not doing that. Listen, some of us don't have all 291 episodes. I bought these sets so I can have all of the episodes since I only have a couple of episode DVD's and because of the affordable price. I don't care about the video quality because it's not why I bought it. I'm not gonna fork over 1682 bucks for both Dragon Boxes because they look pretty.

MVXV, MV, etc....fuck that, just call me Corey. It's my name. It works.

And no, I won't stop if I feel the desire to post. Just like I won't ask you to stop posting either, though you annoy the piss out of me. It's a nice little thing, this freedom of speech concept. And as for who this "we" is supposed to be, I can be equally enigmatic: We don't like posts with little to no intelligence. So just stop it.
I don't care
Again, as I said, ignorant or apathetic. You fall in the latter. If you don't care, stop bugging me. I was done with this topic until people started poking me.

He really was. For as much of a dick as some of us make him out to be, it's gotta be one of the Top 3 retarded/repetitive things Corey doesn't want to talk about where the Season Sets are concerned.

For fucks sake, some of us don't have a choice, there aren't ANY other options in my country.

At least most of the people you claim are contributing to the "issue" aren't pompous assholes about it.

You know what's funny? Most dragon box owners don't even care about episode content. They just like how it looks. They only consider the DBox>Season set because it looks better.

...visuals whores.

I don't fully comprehend how somebody could be pompous while negatively contributing to a problem unless it was intentional. Your failed attempts at disguised name calling make me laugh.

How the show looks is a big part of the show...my wit filled friend.

Hey guys, if you all insist on getting personal, and bashing and questioning eachother's ethics and standards over a cartoon...

...Couldja at least do so a little quieter? I'm tryin' to watch Goku fight Ginyu here, and the Japanese mono is a bit on the quiet side.

I noticed that too. The English dub is loud as shit, and the Japanese dub is quiet :?

This topic is so getting closed. The flaming isn't gonna stop.
