Wow these of f**king dreadful. Why. Why has this promo artist come back and why are they literally doing EVERYHTING now? Who. Who at Toei/Shueisha/Whomever is signing this shit off? It is embarrassing to see this garbage used to promote the show around Japan. I can understand them not caring and letting them do the international BD cover art for like FUNi etc, but to have this person as your main promo art guy to promote the show in your own Japan...yikes.

To be fair, this particular art style has been around even before DBS. I've noticed the bobblehead proportions years ago, and the tendency to make Vegeta and Piccolo look a little like gremlins too.
Also yes, old school DBZ promo art was really nice. Got a bit monotone with the sea of blond spikes later on, but at least the poses and proportions looked cool.
I wonder if we'll get some minor changes with the OP again this coming special (since the new season autumn line up starts this oct), like say removing the ones that got kicked out, adding some scenes and possibly adding Goku's limit breaker form (damn I love that title so much, hope they do call it that instead of something stupid again, but knowing Super there definitely will be a super in the title)

If Jiren is not the main final battle then they might chsnge it after that but it is probably the ending you should be anslysing a bit.
For example maybe look out how the Namekians and Bugs are presented in the new ending if they are in it.
The New form will probably be Super Saiyan something.

I share the same sentiment. And dude, that pictures you posted look awesome! The bottom one with all the Gokus looks so good, that artist should be doing all the DVD covers, posters etc...
