Toshio is writing #112 correct? He tweeted sometime ago that sometimes re-reading the Manga can give inspiration and he took a pic of Buu arc where Goku needed to charge in SS3 and so Vegeta needed to distract Buu.

The partial title is "Vegeta's resolve". I'm guessing it's a similar situation here and Goku needs adjusting or charging or what have you and Vegeta tags in vs Jiren, either Hit gets knocked out or they team up.

I would absolutely love this if it was true. I love Goku and Vegeta working together. Darn Baggie now you got my hopes up.

Although I am still worried now Vegeta will get ringed out.

Tbh if Vegeta acts like a boss like he did the Buu arc then him going out wouldn't feel that bad, Vegeta going out in a badass way is nothing but befitting. If handled well could be one of the best Vegeta moments. But I'm getting wayyy ahead of myself here lol.

The technique still doesn't sound particularly well-written, from the way that preview spells things out. I'm holding my breath a bit, because previews have been crazy wrong before and shown to basically just be theories with little in common with what actually happens in the episode, but this is the first time in a while I've read a preview and thought, "huh... that... sounds... bad."

It's the same technique Whis was talking about in Resurrection 'F'.

Yes, that is clear, yet the way Whis talked about it and how this preview presents it as working are two different things.

Whis essentially said, "you think to much, you need to learn to move without thinking." Basically, that's just a staple martial arts concept going way back to the Samurai's "No Mind" state, and surely long before. Reacting to danger and responding in kind without overburdening your instincts with rational thought, couple that by training your body to be capable of creating the most skilled, direct, and deadly response, that's something all martial artists strive for. But Whis never mentioned anything about the body acting without the consent of the mind, being out of control, or moving while the mind is literally unconscious, and the historical concept obviously doesn't either. Those latter aspects are what the Gohan vs Goku fight seemed now to foreshadow and are what the preview seems to be suggesting is how Goku moves forward after a crushing defeat at the hands of Jiren, and those aspects are the ones that just sound absurd to the point that I wonder how real the preview even is. If real, personally, I think that sounds dumb and not well-written.

Him surpassing Beerus doesn't mean he's as strong as an angel. Beerus hasn't been the top dog in years, so it really doesn't make sense to always have Goku behind him under some some 'where would plot go' staple.

I've never said that "him surpassing Beerus mean he's as strong as an angel". Still, the hakaishins are the top tier in the multiverse except the angels, Zeno and this "one mortal that a God can't defeat".

So, if Goku surpass them now, it's not a good thing for plot or the next arcs, IMO.

The preview literally begs the question.

Also, "immediately after being defeated, he awakened a new power," sorry, to me, sounds like stupid writing. Like I said, I'm willing to actually see how this shakes out, but a) immediately learning a new skill just because you lost is dumb, b) being potentially out of control of yourself for one doesn't actually sound like learning any sort of "skill," and two seems potentially really outlandish and campy, and c) if this isn'tpart of his new transformation, there's little to no reason to think that with this new "skill" of autonomous movement, assuming Goku needs to take his time to actually get the hang of it and he then masters it, that Goku should suddenly be able to take down the guy that defeated him moments ago. That's a lot of what, to me, sounds potentially very bad, Goku moving around all drunken fist or even fighting while actually unconscious aside. Personally, I don't like it. I'm hoping the preview is getting something wrong, or the translation isn't the most accurate.

I really like what this change is setting up to be. It appears it's not another Super Saiyan variant or a transformation at all, and it doesn't seem like it was a matter of absorbing the Genki Dama or ki from someone else. Seems like good writing, as it's the culmination of foreshadowing from way back before the Golden Freeza fight.

The benefit of it not being a Super Saiyan transformation or something Goku specific (like the Genki Dama), is it'll allow people like Freeza, Vegeta, and Beerus (if he hasn't mastered it already, though the manga seemed to imply that it did) to master the same technique.

I really don't see all 4 of Jiren, Goku, Vegeta and Hit coming out of these fights still in as what would be the point of these fights apart from extending the arc.

I could see Jiren winning the Tournament and having him wish back U6 & U7. Jiren seems like someone who enjoys a good fight and probably wants to fight Goku & Hit again. I could also see him and Toppo end up agreeing that Goku was not a bad guy after all.

And the arc isn't over yet and Goku, Hit and Vegeta are all strong fighters so maybe they will still stay in for that reason alone.

There's nothing wrong with utilizing a new technique, but this technique shouldn't suddenly allow him to KO Jiren in a single punch if SSBx20 barely makes him flinch.
My fear, as stated, is that if poorly implemented they would be taking an actual skill based technique (Good) and reducing it down to somehow equate to raw power (Really really bad).
Basically if it somehow has the same net effect of just being raw power, it will be a failure of writing.

Everyone says someone is too strong to go out but people also list a load of characters who are strong but they have to start falling soon due to the amount of fighters remaining.

I just don't see how we can have all these 'strong' fighters in action but none of them falling.

If Jiren is this strong then this fight being Goku's, Hit's and Vegeta's last fighy would not br out of place. Everyone needs to remember this is a battle royale.

Obviously we don't know when everyone is going out by I am trying use logic here. That logic tells me that we are not going to go through all these episodes involving big fights without eliminations.

What kind of condition Jiren is in after fighting Goku, how long Goku is out of commission from the ass kicking Jiren gives him, and whether or not anyone jumps in to help Hit when Jiren comes after him. If Vegeta fights Jiren after Hit and Jiren's not seriously hurting and exhausted, he's going to get mowed down.
