I think it is someone in the tournament and that is just a place holder as it would just give it away otherwise.
If it's a fighter in the tournament already, why hide it? The only fighters yet to be revealed in-show are Damon and Gamisaras, and they showed the two of those in a magazine ad, a calendar and the OP. None of them would really be a surprise anymore.
A cour is a group of 12 episodes and in Super it's marked by a change of EDs. The tournament started at 97 at the beginning of the summer season with Boogie Back being replaced by Haruka. We just started the new one at 109 with Rotten Graffty's song and it's being billed as the climax of the tournament in the advertising. The special was 'the beginning of the climax,' I think the ad said. The serious poo will probably go down in the next 12 episodes if that pattern holds.

According to Herms what it says is just that the final product won't look like that, which could mean the design or the way the figure of said character will be designed and posed. He wondered if it was a clue or not too. Could go either way right now since we have no idea what this is. Shouldn't be to terribly long before we see this person either way since 114 will be near or at the halfway point of the new cour.
I see.
Although it could be a female that so called "Unknown warrior", Again, if Brianne survives Episode 112 which is probably her vs Vegeta then it could be her due to having another powerup.
If it wasnt for the boots then It wouldve been 100% clear it was going to be Kale.
The "but" part in the spoilers kinda teases that something happens to Kale after she transforms into berserker form(maybe someone sneak attacks her).
Why are you assuming Ribrianne is facing Vegeta on episode 112?
I am going to say thay Kale transforms and loses control once again.
IMO they did a good thing. They cut out what we didn't need and personally just dragged on the Hot potato game longer.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!
Spoiler:
Doctor. wrote:I've explained before, I'll just paraphrase myself.
Power levels establish tension and drama. People who care about them (well, people who care about them in a narrative) don't care about the big numbers or the fancy explosions. If you have character A who's so much above character B, who's the main character, you're gonna be left wondering how in the hell character B, the character we're supposed to care and root for, is going to escape the situation or overcome the odds. It makes us emotionally invested.
If character B doesn't escape the situation in a believable way that's consistent with previous events, then that emotional investment is gone. It was pointless tension, pointless drama made just to suck in the viewer. It has no critical value whatsoever. The audience is left believing that the author can just create whatever scenarios he wants and what happens to the characters is decided by whatever the author wants to happen, regardless of the events that happened in the story. Which, in fairness, is what happens, but the audience wants to be fooled. The audience wants to know that the world they're following has rules. That the world they're invested in isn't going to bend to external factors that are irrelevant to them.
An author can do whatever he wants with the characters, that's not false. But the author should also have the responsibility to make sure it fits in cohesively with the other events in the narrative he has created.

I think it is someone looking different. I just don't see anyone new interfering because the Grand Priest and the Zeno's are here and look what happened to Frost
This is going to be one long climax and the new opening will be half way through by the end of the Kale episode.

I've legitimately been hoping the pay-off of all the god stuff is Zeno getting a message from a god above him that that god's boss would like him to stop playing with his universes so recklessly.
I've been expecting a god above Zeno (specifically, his mom or dad) to show up and scold them, reversing the damage they've done.
Also, I find it interesting that even after everything that has occurred in this special, we still have not gotten glimpses of those namekians. If they're not relevant, I'll be shocked.

They did appear really quick.

What if that means jiren is the dad?!
Come to think of it. They could be playing on the whole nephiliam bible theme and the angels and being have been mating with lesser beings. That or similarly roman/greek concepts of zues impregnating everything. That could be where stuff is coming from. Is there a correlation in roman mythology or simlar to the TOP? When the children of the gods had to fight for their existences or whatever parallels exist.

That doesnt make sense when episode 101 goal was to witness Kale controlling her berserker transformation.
My original prediction was that its Freeza showing up and lasering Kale in a sneaky way, Freeza was already setting his eyes on the U6 Saiyans when he was amused at Vegeta saving Cabba in the episode 112 spoilers.

Doubt it remember spoilers aren't going to reveal everything
Ribrianne,17,Dyspo,toppo,etc weren't mention in the spoilers yet there in the game still
Oh, definitely, but it is a little strange that he isn't mentioned at all. Well, then again neither is Goku. It just makes me really curious about the next episode with him vs. Hit.

I've seem some eye-catchers for this special and it's the same image used to present the remaining memebers of U6 and U7 of the previous episode, but now both namekians were in full view. (they tried to be a little sneakier with the Piccolo look-alike )
What if the new character is a fusion of the two bug warriors? It would be interesting if they have something powerful in plan that we don't know about.

Turtles all the way down.
I'm not sure how I would feel about that. On one hand, it would be fantastic to see someone put Zeno in his place. But on the other hand, how many more echelons of deities does this franchise really need?

I still haven’t lived down going, “Who the heck is Tao Pai-pai?” that one time I was talking with Ei’ichiro Oda-kun. But the fact that there are still people reading the series after all this time… All I can say is; “thank you.” Really, that’s all.

And that you also have IMMENSELY skewed and comically backwards priorities in what you think is most important and needed to make a good Dragon Ball story.

I agree. What we have now is definitely enough. It would be far more interesting if someone lower than Zen-Oh puts them in place otherwise it's just a silly cycle at that point. "Oh no a big bad destroyer god, oh wait Angel is higher than them oh wait Grand Priest is even higher than them and Zen-Oh rules over all"

I wouldn't mind more deities. Maybe not necessarily new levels of command but more "departments." In any case, I belong to the part of the fandom that is not a huge fan of the omnipotent toddler. He's unsettling the same way Buu was, but it gets tiresome fairly fast. So someone to be able to control him a bit might be welcomed. Curious to see what Zarama is like.
Well, guess that finally marks their semi-first on screen appearance barring their darkened silhouettes and pictures on the Zen-oh's tablet.
They appeared once more as practically stick men after this shot. I suppose the next stage is for them to appear in the arena in the foreground for 1 second.
