If I trade in my PSP (which I pretty much only bought to play Shin Budokai 2, which would now be moot if I got BT3 anyway) and games, I think I could get pretty much exactly $80 for the whole setup. If I want to splurge a bit, I could get the remodeled PS2 used for $100, instead, and maybe a game as well... Oh, I've got a bunch of my sisters' old PS1 games I could trade in, too... heck, does GameStop still take PS1 systems(one of the redesigned ones), too...?

Just make sure to buy a PS2 memory card along with the console. My old big ps2 broke, so I bought a slimline, they're pretty cool, but I prefer the disc tray in the chunky PS2 as opposed to the fliptop on the slimline, just feels safer to me.

Err, I just saw a screenshot with Cell form 2 using the Big Bang (like in BT2).
Does anyone know if he will have the gallic gun this time from trailers or screenshots?

I mean, he used the gallic gun against Super Vegeta, but I never saw him shooting a big bang ?

Alright, he was the weakest and youngest of them, but he would at least have _some_ power.

And in BT2, he just seemed sorta weak.
He was easily pummeled by Roshi for example.

Is he really THAT weak? I always thought he was kinda strong, weaker than Cell but stronger than Freeza at least O_o

Well...if they made all the characters proportionally as strong compared to each other as they were in the series, they game would be really crazy. You could play as Freeza in Tournament Mode and beat every Saiyan and Freeza saga character in one or two hits, only to wind up fighting SSJ2 Gohan and being instantly defeated. Or you could just play as Vegetto or SSJ4 Gogeta and defeat everyone with no effort at all (you can already pretty much do this with SSJ4 Gogeta). Still, I do kinda wish that Kaioshin was a better character to play as.

Off-topic.

The new model PS2's suck, at least in the long run. They're slim and small and all that because of one reason...It lacks a fan. How is it suppose to cool down? Every large device like that needs a fan, even my DVD player has a fan. My friend had a newer model one, and those suckers get HOT. His eventually broke under the constant heat, and it didn't take that long.

Man, they better make Ginyu's ultimate better, they totally nerfed him in BT2. His ultimate sucked ass.

Kunzait_83, you must have gotten a lucky one then, and I agree about the ultimate, it was fun and cheap, but that's how he uses it. He doesn't pick a random fighter, and then somehow isn't able to do techniques...Heh.

Yeah Adey, that's what my friend's did. It like...burns the laser or something. I don't know, all I do know though is it lacks a fan, and that's not a good idea.

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't talking about making characters as strong as in the show. This would not be very good for the balance.
But a yellow lifebar for the kaioshin, that's way too weak.
I mean, he's as weak and about as slow (maybe a bit faster) than the dragon ball characters.
I think, that was a bit too weak for him, if he was someone (in the show) who could destroy Freeza with one blow or something.
Even in game balance I think, he deserves some better stats than he has in BT2.
But that's just my 2 cents.

I also have a slim PS2 (v14 I think) for quite a while and it's not getting hot.
It's warm after several hours of gameplay, but it doesn't get too hot and I used it frequently over quite some time now without any problems.

Yeah, I agree with the Supreme Kai being off. He was a lot faster and stronger in the Budokai games.

His stats should be comparable to the Super Saiya-jins at lesat. Pan's another one they didn't give enough health to on default.

His fast IT is enough to make him kick ass though, well....Kibitoshin at least. Playing Supreme Kai is like playing Nappa or Dodoria, man...he's slow as hell. Nappa just completely sucks though, haha. I'd really like to see Raditz be upgraded. I hope he has a cooler cinematic-like rush like the others have.

Nice to finally see solid proof of Arale in Meteor! Not only that, but we get Penguin Village as a stage too!? This is pure awesomeness! Hopefully the PS3 project will be another Sparking game with all the stuff we missed out on in Meteor.

Negative... You have to get a PS2 memory card. Sucked for me, It took me a while to find a PS One Memory Card for my PS2 to play Final Fantasy VII.

In which I'm pretty nit picky, because he's only using the right hand while his other hand's pretty much unharmed. Excuse me for bring up Budokai 3, but didn't Gohan used both of his hands for the Father and Son Kamehameha? Nevertheless, the screen shot looks great! Just look at Gohan's different facial expression. (Sorry folks, I just have to tease the series a bit.

In his battle damaged costume in BT2, Gohans facial expression would change during the Father Son Kamehameha, but if not, it'd just be the good old blank face that everyone has.

I really want more expressions, you don't really see your characters unless there's a cinematic rush move going on or something, but it'd be really nice.
