They could have Beerus or Zeno erase Freeza permanently at some point so he doesn't just wind up back in Hell.

Realistically I see Freeza getting one more arc as a big villain, then them finally doing away with him for good.

What makes you so confident in this?

I agree and disagree with that. If they can handle Frieza staying alive very well, I won't have an issue with it. But I don't want him becoming a good guy.

They've done a good job with Frieza so far. The only reason he is cooperating is because he wants to be revived. Zero loyalties to anyone. Now that he's figured out that the Dieties aren't too fond of what Goku has accomplished, I think it's safe to say he will probably become a multi universal threat at some point and not just a U7 problem.
How i predict the tournament will end:

People are tired of Goku x Vegeta interactions mainly because in Super, it's oversaturated. While in Z we only had in Movie 6, 12, in the Boo arc and in GT final arc as well. It was nice to see Goku and Vegeta training together for the first time with Whis, but we really need them doing the same thing in the RoSaT? Did we need episodes with Goku fighting with a fake Vegeta? It was too much IMO.

Goku x Freeza was good for a change, but I hope he don't get an active role with the main cast after this arc. Just keep the villain being the villain, no anti-hero, redemption BS, please.

I am never tired of Goku X Vegeta I love their chemistry and think they make a great team

That being said one of my favorite aspects of the TOP has been seeing pair ups we don't normally see

So yes Goku X Freeza and also Gohan X Freeza

Goku X the Androids

Vegeta X Roshi

And I definitely want more of that before this tournament is over.

Hah, Freeza becoming neutral towards the Z fighters is something I would like to see (Especially since Frost ended up being a waste by being evil) however, the rage and salt being spread over the internet would be huge.

The camel's back would be completely broken as well

I don't really want Freeza to turn good since I do think some characters need to stay villains. Freeza was so popular because of how truly evil and conniving he was not because he showed any potential that he had some goodness in his heart. In fact I think he showed quite the opposite.

But I also try to give them the benefit of the doubt. If they can tell a good Freeza redemption story than I'll have to accept it. But it will have to be some amazing writing for me to do so.

I know a lot of DB characters started off antagonistic and then eventually turned good so it's not that it's without precedent. But with Freeza it definitely just can't be I fought with you in the TOP and now I had a change of heart because that would not be realistic at all.

I don't know I've said this before I worry what they are going to do with Freeza. Having him be the main villain again feels like been there done that. But having him redeemed doesn't seem true to his character.

Right now Freeza is fine because he is mysterious but they can't keep that up forever.

The whole point of Freeza is he should never be redeemed. He is the "Emperor of evil."

You don't turn what many see as the most iconic and memorable villain of Dragonball into a good guy. This is the same Freeza who killed off Goku's friends, the Saiyans, blew up the Earth. He is EVIL.

I really find it hard to believe people are ok with the idea of Freeza turning good. It's "jump the shark" material. It's like bad fanfiction published.

Vegeta is my favorite character and I absolutely hate it. I’d rather Vegeta be doing his own thing than chasing after and living his life with Goku. The Vegeta I love would rather die than spend 3 straight years in the RoSaT training with Goku but whatever. The Saiyan Prince has lost his pride :(

Well I am happy you love Vegeta I guess we just see his character differently. :)

Why do you think training with Goku means he lost his pride? It's not like he is getting a free power up by training with Goku. He respects Goku as a fighter and he knows Goku makes him stronger too. And I think Goku also likes training with Vegeta. You are right the old Vegeta would never have wanted to train with Goku or anyone. He never would have asked Whis to train him. But I don't think this means he lost his pride.

I still very much think Vegeta has his pride. He has pride in battle and he keeps fighting until the end. Even when Vegeta loses he always keeps getting up. Unless it is absolutely necessarily he still would rather fight alone.

Keep in mind pride can be both positive and negative and I think throughout the series we have seen how Vegeta's pride has hurt him but also where it has given him strength. I don't think Vegeta will ever lose his pride (though I love that he can be proud of other things too like his family) but sometimes learning to be humble & to learn from others is not such a bad thing. Vegeta's experiences has taught him that.

Really?Vegeta lost his pride now?Because he trained with Goku?
He did not lose his pride after what Freeza did to him on Namek?Or when he sold his soul to Babidi so he could keep up the pace on that 1 sided rivarly?

While I wouldn't stop watching Super over Freeza being turned into a good guy, I also really don't want to see it happen. We're seeing little hints here and there that it might happen, which is bad enough, but the things Freeza has done, the things that make him an interesting character, it wouldn't work at all for him to become a full-fledged good guy. If he becomes a villainous anti-hero who is still evil but occasionally helps out the good guys, that's one thing. Thanos from the comic books is an interesting example of this. He is whole-heartedly evil and is often in the crosshairs of the heroes, but from time to time he helps Team Good when they need to save the entire universe/multiverse. And it works and makes Thanos even more interesting. Freeza could follow a similar blueprint, but much more than that and it would become unbelievable bullshit.

I think I would enjoy a "Good" Frieza mostly because current Frieza's interactions with the crew have been really good and one of the few things that I look forward to in this show.

Goku and Vegeta's whole rivalry shtick has gotten old, to the point that I honestly hate anytime the 2 are on screen at the same time or in the same general vicinity of each other.

If "good" Frieza gets us more of current Frieza then i'm all in!

"With Hit out and Goku exhausted, Jiren's certain that there's nobody left to rival him. With nobody worth fighting, he starts meditating."

So, the likes of Freeza and Vegeta aren't even worth fighting for Jiren. This means they're even weaker than Goku and Hit. Yes, we knew that, but it's good to have confirmation for once.
