He could one shot a whole bunch of fighters to get the numbers in U11's favor but for plot Jiren won't be fighting anyone

You know, I would have put a solid bet on Hit being one of the last few fighters remaining, but he didn't even make it to the halfway point of the tournament's time limit. I really think an unknown character is going to emerge from the shadows, steal the win for their universe by eliminate the other last opponent(s) out of nowhere or keeping themselves hidden, and win the whole tournament.

Can't really blame him. He really is just letting the other universes take each other out and then he can just clean up at the end.Lord Frieza wrote:And in those moment's he dose not seem to care if he rings out his opponent or not.Jigurashi wrote:Essentially. Champa was not as mad as I thought he would be so could that mean the Namekians are hiding something that we will find out about in the upcoming episodes.

I didn't think so at first but after Jiren's there is no one out there that can beat me Id be really surprised if there wasn't someone out there. You know when characters are too arrogant.

I mean before U6 Sayians in general were weaker than Goku/Vegeta at this point in the story. Would it really be surprising if the new namekians are weaker than Piccolo? :pnamekiansaiyan wrote:Champa was not as mad as I thought he would be so could that mean the Namekians are hiding something that we will find out about in the upcoming episodes.

I think that Caulifla and Kale might go for Gohan and Piccolo in episode 112 if the U6 Namekians are eliminated in that episode.

I made a mistake in my earlier thoughts on U11. Its not plot stupidity, it's arrogance
Jiren believes he's not needed anymore and that Toppo and Dyspo can handle the rest. Makes sense

I'm the only who thinks this is too convenient? Oh let's put Jiren to meditate, while Goku fight the others, learns to use Ultra Instinct again, have a rematch with Jiren and wins in the finale. Please Super, don't go to this obvious route.Zamasu55 wrote:"With Hit out and Goku exhausted, Jiren's certain that there's nobody left to rival him. With nobody worth fighting, he starts meditating."

It almost seemed like Toppo was worried about Jiren when they hit the half way point in time, makes me wonder if maybe Jiren can only fight for a little bit and then has to recharge.Yedis wrote:I made a mistake in my earlier thoughts on U11. Its not plot stupidity, it's arrogance![]()

Most of the fighters can fight base form Goku who shits on Piccolo. So 50% is a little high.Hakaishin Liquir wrote:Dude Piccolo is SSJ2 level. He's stronger than over 50% of the fighters here, and the Saonel and Pilina obviously were never going to be SSB level or anywhere close to there or else they would have been recruited for the previous tournament.supercat wrote:So Piccolo's confident he can fight those Namekians? Yeah looks like an intro for two additional fodders. Piccolo that pride-less coward lacked enough confidence to train with Goku and Vegeta, while even having the nerve to ask Frost to suppress himself. Those Namekians must be a complete joke for him to want to even face them. Hopefully Piccolo just gets defeated in a matter of seconds and the Namekians face off against Gohan and another SSB-tier fighter. Otherwise, we'll have more weak Namekians doing nothing.

No he isn't. Piccolo with a charge blast couldn't even hurt base form Goku in Episode 90 and the Super Saiyan 2 Gohan that he strangled got so stronger than he could fight Super Saiyan 2 Goku as Ultimate.Hakaishin Liquir wrote: I mean current SSJ2 Goku/Vegeta/Gohan level.
Super Saiyan 2 is not a level. It's a multiplier of the Saiyans' bee form. So there no "Super Saiyan-level".

Since the green sky ended up being something I wonder if the dark red sky will be what it looks like in the final minutes of the tournament.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
The green looks horrible but I kinda dig the changing background as the time runs out. I hope in the last say, 5 minutes, there is thunder and lighting everywhere and all that nice stuff. A truly end of the world type of match.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Base Gohan is far from Base Goku in my opinion. Other than their non-serious sparring match from awhile back, nothing really implies that the two are anywhere near equal in their respective base forms. Plus, SSJ2 Goku did pretty well against a vastly improved Ultimate Gohan, so SSJ2 Gohan (current) should be under SSJ2 Goku (current). When fighting seriously, both Final Form Frieza and Base Goku should be leagues ahead of Base Gohan, and possibly even SSJ Gohan. I definitely have Piccolo stronger than Buuhan at this point, but like I said, that milestone was long surpassed back in RoF by Goku and Vegeta's weakest form.Hakaishin Liquir wrote:Final Form Frieza's power level has been very inconsistent throughout this arc. He was able to stomp Jimeze, who has beating base Gohan (who is equal to base Goku).supercat wrote:Hm, current SSJ2 Goku / Vegeta are likely far above Final Form Frieza (RoF), and I don't think Piccolo's anywhere near that. Unless he somehow gained a huge amount of power by training with Gohan. I mean I guess the new Namekians being on par with current SSJ2 Goku / Vegeta would be alright. Although I know the usual downplays of power will come into play with fans saying they're merely Cell saga-tier. lol. Anyway, I'll be happy to continue this discussion in the Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread.Hakaishin Liquir wrote: I mean current SSJ2 Goku/Vegeta/Gohan level.
Not sure if even that would top Tien's silly poses and all around humiliation. Especially with the way he was eliminated.darzap wrote:Too bad they didn't bring Yamcha. He could have been one-shotted by Lilibeu or Basil just to mark the start of the timer.
Most U7 characters have gotten a random nonsense power up in this arc. Just look at how Roshi got 1000x stronger by training off-screen for a year. So Piccolo reaching SSJ2 Goku level in this arc isn't surprising by DBS standards.

More like neither Freeza nor Vegeta have shown their true colors yet.Zamasu55 wrote:"With Hit out and Goku exhausted, Jiren's certain that there's nobody left to rival him. With nobody worth fighting, he starts meditating."
So, the likes of Freeza and Vegeta aren't even worth fighting for Jiren. This means they're even weaker than Goku and Hit. Yes, we knew that, but it's good to have confirmation for once.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Getting a good laugh is great and all, but I was really hoping the new Namekians would be SSB-tier. It would have been great if they faced off against Frieza or Android 17 after humiliating Piccolo in a matter of seconds. If they somehow end up weaker than Piccolo I would be utterly disappointed. The only thing worse than that is if they begin to look up to him as a teacher, like Cabba did with Vegeta. And while Cabba and Vegeta were amazing as student and teacher, the new Namekians and Piccolo would basically be no better than those weaklings training with Tien and Tien himself. Weaklings looking up to more weaklings.
