Alright, I'll try writing the Vegeta/#18 fanfic then.

There are some (like me) who will argue that Pilaf may well have not been considered truly "evil" because he's such an ineffectual dipshit. In other words, while his intentions may be bad, his stupidity renders him so harmless he could also be considered "non-threatening" and thus have been exempt from the wish.

I agree that it's a flimsy excuse that's totally up for debate, but looking over Pilaf's history as a villain... the worst thing he ever did was release Daimao (and even that wound up having beneficial effects that far outweighed the negatives in the long run). Overall I could buy it, but I can also understand why others might not.
Yes, but I really don't think Toei cared about that until the fans started questioning, which was probably immediately after the first show aired. Guess they thought they'd get away with it since Pilaf is from waaay back.

Also, it was shown that Akkuman/Spike the Devil-Man was revived, as he gave Goku some of his energy to defeat Kid Buu. Obviously the wish made on Porunga had to be limited to not reviving pure evil beings, which as we know, Akira Toriyama himself considers Piccolo Daimao the first truly pure evil person in the series. So I say, suck on that to any whiners. :P

Why would anyone interpret a stupid twit like Emperor Pilaf as a villian anyways? He's like the "villains" in episodic children's cartoons (i.e. Mojo Jojo from the Powerpuff Girls - that's right, I made a Powerpuff girls reference)
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Probably that whole "taking pleasure from watching three kids and two animals roasting alive" thing.

I mean a King Piccolo or Frieza-like villain.

He's definitely a gag character, but he's hardly a "stupid twit." After all, he did successfully steal nearly all of their Dragon Balls, capture them and steal the last one, came extremely close to getting his wish fulfilled, AND he would have killed them all if not for the fact that it happened to be a full moon night.

That already makes him more formidable than most of the Red Ribbon Army. Plus, he also managed to find a way of hiding a Dragon Ball from radar, and might have even killed Gokuu if his tail hadn't accidentally been pulled off.

All of that might not put him on the same level as Freeza, but if early Buu arc Vegeta can be considered a bad person, then I see no reason Pilaf shouldn't be, too, since it's not like he ever became a nice, upstanding citizen that helps save the world the way Vegeta did.

Ooh, Vegeta/#18....that's pretty hot. How might that go?

Vegeta: Hey, I've had about enough of my baby mama drama. You want to take a ride on the royal express?
#18: Sorry, I prefer my men to be short and bald, not just short.
Vegeta: ....bitch.

Really really angry and/or earthshaking. Ain't like they have to be gentle, after all.

Reminds me of my very first, very bad fanfic. Vegeta and Bulma in divorce court.

Pretty much.

Being a comedic villain doesn't make one not-evil. Just cuz he failed to take over the world and kill everyone doesn't mean he didn't want to.
To show my appreciation, I'll only beat them half to death.

Just after Frieza was cut in half, I swear one scene showed a shot from the ground where you could see down Frieza's body, and his shows him with both arms, along with his amputated arm, it may be a leg I see connected to his body, but it looks so much like its connected to his arm.

I always liked the scene when Goku's changing into his gi for the Cell games (at the house with Chi Chi), you can clearly see him tighten the knot of his gi belt, but in the next shot, he has a non-tie full obi on. ^.^

One of Goku's boots in the manga is uncolored, vol 42 (26), when he launches the Chou Genki Dama. And Satan's mustache is un-colored on page 177 of the same volume.

But, the absolute best one in the anime is when they show SSj2 Gohan killing 8 Cell Jrs in the "Unleashing" ep when only 7 were made to begin with. Don't believe me? Count them. :D
