It could be. As has been noted the domain registration is private so it remains to be seen if Toei was the one behind it.

This would absolutely kill Super's production though. It's already bad enough as it is. Maybe Super will be getting a break after the Universe Survival arc finishes? Or maybe Super will finish altogether and this movie will wrap everything up. I have a lot of questions if there is actually going to be a new movie.

Super is killing it in merchandise so it'll continue way past 2018 or finish in 2018.

If they did Toyotaro's story, it's not exactly a "re-telling" in a sense. There's plenty of reasons for people to want it, especially if they preferred the manga.

I would honestly want a Planet Sadal movie, though.

I'm usually against retellings as well, but the Future Trunks arc has so much potential that I feel hasn't been explored fully in both the anime and the manga. However, I will take something original over a retelling if we're getting a new movie.
