What a terrible intro. Where the hell are Freeza and Cell?!
Unless I hear that the game is the 2nd coming of Christ, I'm totally avoiding it like the plague. I'm sick of these Sparking Expansion Packs.
UGH!Humpski wrote:Ginyu's body change hasn't been altered. I was disappointed at first but I guess I can understand why they didn't do it.
They'd have to program every single character so that they could have Ginyu's voice and moveset in case they get hit by the beam. They'd also have to program Ginyu's model with every other character's voice and moveset. Also, how would this ever work on giant characters?
This way they only have to do it for a few of them and they just put one in randomly.
How would they be anything but an expansion? What do you get when they try something new...? Sagas. That's just gross. To me, this game looks badass. I actually stopped playing the second one because it doesn't look as fun as the third. I want BT3 damnit! At least Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions will hold me over until then.Castor Troy wrote:Unless I hear that the game is the 2nd coming of Christ, I'm totally avoiding it like the plague. Enjoy the intro! I did!
And I'm sick of folk (like you) who "claim" to be sick of a game and continue to post topics on a board about the game like a DUMB mouth to a flame.Castor Troy wrote:UGH.

Honestly, must you flame everyone who has a negative opinion of the game?HyperBlaze wrote:And I'm sick of folk (like you) who "claim" to be sick of a game and continue to post topics on a board about the game like a DUMB mouth to a flame.Castor Troy wrote:UGH.

Look fellow, most sequals if not all are just expansion packs of it's previous installment and thats REAL TALK! Sparking Meteor is a real, and I mean REAL quality game and worth every cent it's priced for and this is from a true gamers point of few and not a delusional DBZ fan.
What are movie sequals?
A second etc. film "EXPANDING" and "BUILDING" upon the events etc. that occured in the previous...correct?
Same thing applies here and truthfully Sparking has been undoubtably consistent in there sequals.
This game is a true testament!
So go be a ignant-hater somwhere else.
Please keep in mind that Sagas was made by the development company Avalanche (Responsible for the Tak games). Besides there's that rumored DBZ adventure game for the PS2 & X360 as hinted by Viz, so I'm pretty sure will eventually get a solid DBZ title that's not a fighting game.Drunken Master wrote:How would they be anything but an expansion? It's sad to hear you say that, as I was ready to enjoy the graphical eye candy. Speaking of graphics, how are the blasts looking? Do you think they improved by a lot, or just minimally? I'm pretty sure they did very little to improve the correct models. YouTube videos really don't do the actions justice because for the majority of the time, I just stare at the pixels due to the sucky flash. Anyways, expansion? I'll get to the bottom of this sooner or later. Oh, and HyperBlaze, those negative talks are merely opinions, thus they should not affect your enjoyment of the game. Then again, do you even have the game yet? Just asking.Smooth Criminal wrote:Well, I've received my order and after several hours of play...... I'm not impressed. Yet.
I'm sure I'll enjoy the new characters/costumes, but man is it a bitch unlocking them.
It feels like I'm doing the SAME exact thing that I've done two other times now. (In regards to the story mode)
They said that there would be a vastly restructured story mode, but, it really isn't. Man, it is such a chore ... I really wish I could just import everything over from BT2 and unlock the new stuff from there.
Gameplay itself has been tweaked minimally. They said that they had made some improvements to the gameplay to promote more variety, but... That's not really true. There are a few, slight additions that won't really make that much of a difference in the heat of battle. The game is still very much about using mostly power blasts to win battles.
Interface is really cool, much like BT2. I love the loading screens and other little touches.
On the whole, I'm gonna go ahead and say that this feels like BT2+. Perhaps it should've even be released as an expansion game.
Only if you're very lucky. I've never had any burned games myself but I've seen plenty of disscusion over glitches that occur only in downloaded and burned copies of games. Some of which are gamekillers.Demi wrote:Burned copies of games run just as perfectly as the originals actually.kvon wrote:I'm not going to even thank the ones who's been showing gameplay videos with glitched and skipped audio because chances are, they're playing the bootleg. YES! Goku and Gohan in Saiyan Amour! Adult Gohan in Saiyaman undergarment! 17 is hunter costume! This game rocks!
Darn, Bardock's man-humping was what made it funny when my friend comes over to play, we called him 'Bardock the Rapist', his broken amour alt. costume did not help. Cell's transformation looks awesome.kvon wrote:Hey, fans of man-humping, sorry to disappoint you. Looks like Bardock advanced to the next level of politeness. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Y2RU2kEaU8
And check out Cell's transformations as well. Very little comment, because in my opinion, the only impressive transformation is the one going to Super Perfect. The other transformations can only be appreciated in the story mode, because doing it several times in vs. mode is just annoying.
Wow, that was epic!Supa Saiya-Jin Tullece wrote:The hand of God coming down to pwn Freeza. Like a n00b.
Yeah, it actually looks like an even fight. What I liked was that Goku actually stopped to tell Freeza he was outmatched, and I liked the beam fight at the end.

Textures shouldn't be a problem, they are already in-game.kvon wrote:Talk about a major additional voice acting for Ginyu's seiyu. It would be cool to hear Ginyu's voice saying some of the attacks such as Kamehameha, and Stupid Ener....I mean, Genki-Dama.Humpski wrote:They'd have to program every single character so that they could have Ginyu's voice and moveset in case they get hit by the beam.
