What does Vegeta have in store?
Re: What has Vegeta in store?
I would be surprised if Vegeta can't power up as SSB to at least Goku's SSBKKx10 level, but I won't be surprised if that's the limit to Vegeta's gains.
I'd like to see where Vegeta goes from here as a character. Since the Cell Saga, we've seen that Goku just has far better fighting instinct and knowledge. His idea to acclimate his and Gohan's bodies to the SSJ form, rather than just hard, physical training proved to be the substantially better path to power. In the Buu Saga, Vegeta had to resort to evil magic in order to gain a power up that would allow him to rival Goku and that still wasn't actually enough because Goku was hiding SSJ3 the entire time. But since the Buu Saga, Vegeta has become far more humbled. I wonder how his training techniques have evolved since then, and what his goals are nowadays.
Theoretically, if we make the assumption that SSB is a 50 times multiplier over SSG, just like the original Super Saiyan form, then it would only make sense if SSB2 were a x2 multiplier over that. Should that be the case, then, if Vegeta's trained his SSB form to be ten times stronger than it once was, so it can compete against SSBKKx10, that would make a theoretical SSB2 the equivalent of SSBKKx20, but without nearly as harsh of drawbacks. SSB2 would probably drain Vegeta's stamina far less than SSBKKx20, wouldn't potentially damage Vegeta's body, and also leaves room for rage/desperation boosts as well. It should also have much better ki control than SSBKKx20 since the KKx20 marks an obvious strain on the SSB's ki control limits. Potentially, that could mean that Vegeta could actually hit harder and more precisely as SSB2 than Goku could at SSBKKx20 if he can contain more ki power within each blow.

Re: What has Vegeta in store?
People act like Goku's base SSB form did not improve as much as Vegeta's which is funny to me because since the fused Zamasu fight, both of them should've improved base Blue substantially. If anything Goku should be stronger since he trained against Hit in round 2 and fought Toppo. Also having the ability to go KK x20 is not a given, he most likely had to train his Blue form a lot in order to attain x20, so theoretically Goku's base Blue should be at least equal to if not greater than Vegeta's.

Ya know what could be really funny? Vegeta having ssj3 blue
The form he never attained officially ( though it's implied he could go ssj3, as we see him smirking against Trunks when he asks his dad to do it) perfected and God tier
" look Kakaroth, this is a Real super saiyan three, muahhaha"
Nah, I really hope he'll have something exclusive and new who goes well with his new nature of Ki control

Goku didn't train against Hit, he just fought him. At the same time Vegeta fought Whis. Before this ToP arc began they made a point to say that Goku's body had gotten soft and that bullets could scratch him now. KKx20 really came out of nowhere.SuperNingenGod wrote:People act like Goku's base SSB form did not improve as much as Vegeta's which is funny to me because since the fused Zamasu fight, both of them should've improved base Blue substantially. I don't think he'll get any new form as they'll want to keep the attention on UI but maybe a new move. They could give him his Gamma burst flash that he had in the manga.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

As much as I'd like something new from Vegeta, prolly just a stronger SSB. Maybe a new ki blast, but I'm not expecting a new form.

IN the anime , goku says he is rusty and hasn't fought in a while and needs to be retrained. In the manga goku says he hasn't really trained since the goku black arc ended. Its likely that goku blue form hasn't gotten much stronger since he last fought M Zamasu while Vegeta only stopped training near the end of bulma's pregnancy and then went into the time chamber which could lead to his blue form being way stronger than it was before
