Ouch. My sincere condolences. I hope your brother and his friends aren't the worst company you can find.

Situations like that must really suck the big one, and is one of the many reasons why I mourn the death of the arcade experience.


And no, online gaming is NOT an acceptable substitute.
Ah the arcade experience....the only real one left is the one in Times Square...and it's been awhile since I've gone to that one.

But personally I wouldn;t mind playing this game online. I wouldn;t have to deal with that (imo) annoying splitscreen. Unless I play it on the big tv. Then it looks sorta fine.
It's strange this hero thing. Whole lives devoted completely to helping others. For no financial reward whatsoever. Struggling ceaselessly against impossible odds, risking almost certain death to help those in trouble. I...I just hope its not catching, yes?

Just started playing story mode in Meteor, and WOW, I must say I LOVE the way they animated Goku's Kamehameha, and Kaioken! Early Goku ftw!

You're better off than I am for that then. Since I moved out of my cousin's place... 4 years ago?... I've not had any friends that are *local*. Everyone I talk to, and would therefore play against, lives out of state/country. I'm relegated to playing on my own, at least until I move to Canada. Then I'll be able to kick Jers' ass. 8)

Is there any one site that has every image and magazine scan that's been released so far? I'm trying to do an article covering EVERYTHING that's been released so far for my blog, but I can't find any definitive EVERYTHING, cuz everytime I go to a new site, it's got something I haven't seen yet. :?

I'm sooo happy that the Wii version will have Online Vs cuz none of my friends who play video games are any good at fighting games let alone any DBZ game. Although I do with the PS2 version had online because more people have that than Wiis.

I wish i had somone decent to play against too playing alone gets boring quick after finishing everything. Ill probably end up getting a wii and going online to fight decent people because there's no way i would be able to find anyone like that around where i live offline.

Seems like you don't use a lot of characters in storymode. Not even Chou Gohan or Gotenks.

However, maybe the guy who did this list did his fights wrong, like beating Nappa too early so that Goku didn't have to fight him, etc.

Never mind my last post. I guess the guy went through the story and because he didn't follow how the original outcomes of the fights went it ended with him skipping or not having to do some of them.

EDIT: By the way, once I get this game, I'll just take a break from the story mode at points, and just go play any major fights the story skipped in Vs Mode instead. :)

Yeah, I think this was already brought up in an interview or article when describing the story mode. In fact, I think that was the exact example. XD

Aha. See, I only recently started making plans to get a PS2 and the game, so up until then I wasn't really following along much, besides ogling smexy new characters (Mmmm... Selipa...)

It seems it works like DBZ Legends on Sega Saturn and Playstation : if you wanted to, you were allowed to defeat Freeza with Kuririn, but to obtain a maximum of battle points, and the good ending, you had to respect the story of the manga.

So, Teen Gohan DOES have is battle damage from the Cell fight, but it's not a separate outfit, it's actual damage from battle. I saw a few more battle damaged outfits for Goku, he has a very cool-looking shirtless outfit, which is just a further damaged version of his previous damaged state. In-game damage is a very good idea. :wink:
Next quest: Buy the Super: Broly and Super Hero Blurays, also Daima whenever that releases in the states. Also the Super Manga!

Romantikku Ageru Yo is nice, but seriously, the entire credits is just Bulma looking out of the window. If they re-did the entire ending clip with that quality of animation, I'd piss my pants.
