I think it was Eighter in the Path to Power dub, at least.

Yeah I just looked at the manga he calls Android 8 "Eight-man”. I had the two names mixed up. Sorry about that.

I don't think that story mode list is definite. It changes based on the outcome of certain battles, win or lose.
It only changes the battle itself and the little epilogue after it - the changes don't seem to be carried to the next event. If the game was in English, I suppose we could figure out easily what really isn't in the game by reading the narration...

However, there are some weird things. The 8 min trailer showed a Nail VS Ginyu force "what if" (there were subtitles in the screen), but no one seems to have unlocked that, even people who supposedly have 100% in story mode.

It might have been changed/scrapped though- like how old screens show Tenshinhan looking at Nappa while Chaozu grabs him, even though in the final game 3 characters never appear in the screen at once in story mode.

Anyway, it seems I was wrong about the stage number, as Spike seems to have counted Day/Sunset/Night variations... though it's weird, considering how they seem to have more than 30 stages, including those variations.

I've got a quick question that may have been answered earlier, I dont know.
Does BT3 have a widescreen mode and/or progressive mode?

That fight list is obviously wrong then, because there's a Fasha/Seripa story battle that Humpski posted. So there's more than just that list.

....aaaaaaaaaaand the atari boards just imploded upon itself.

I still wanna know what the deal is with story mode and the conflicting accounts...

Well besides the rampant whining over no GT Gohan/Vegeta alts and no What If fusions, they've apparently resorted to posting hentai images and are posting just plain vulgar things. And none of the mods have made an appearance.

Wait...there's good hentai?

And as far as the game is concerned....remember them saying "60 hours of gameplay"? There's gotta be something to that so I won't fret over story mode.

Looking between Sparking 1 and Sparking Meteor's openings in the screencaps sections, I have to say I actually think Sparking 1 has better animation. Everyone looks like plastic action figures in Meteor's opening.

I had no problem with Neo's story mode length. It kept me occupied. If we really are getting a short run through I really pity the PS2 version.

In any of the posted videos did anyone see a map like thing in the lower right corner? I used that to judge how close to the edge of the arena I was and plan accordingly.

DB with better graphics, a shame that they never showed the whole ending.

Man, Blue's B2 are so awesome, so his other B2 must be his psychic attack. The costumes are okay, but what about those who only seem to have one costume? Pallet swap?

Dr Wheelo is okay, Freeza is too. Cell is cool, Tambourine is badass. So is Seripa and #18. I liked her BT2 Ultimate thought, it was so much funny to see.

The post hasn't come yet so there's still a chance I may get my copy today, but all I know is that list is 100% certain, Seripa vs Zarbon is part of the Saiyans what-if.

It might suck for some, but unless the percentage goes over 100 if you find "hidden pathways", then there's no hope of a huge in depth storyline.

I'm in the generation of fans that started with Toonami, so I totally empathize with the feeling of having "missed the party", experiencing disappointment, and wanting to experience it myself. But I can't, that's how life is. Time is a bitch. The party is over. Kageyama, Kikuchi, and Maeda are off the sauce now; Yanami almost OD'd; Yamamoto got arrested; Toriyama's not going to light trash cans on fire and hang from the chandelier anymore. We can't get the band back together, and even if we could, everyone's either old, in poor health, or calmed way the fuck down. Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.
