I think that confirms we won't see Metamoran fusion anymore. This had to be the last chance for them to perform the fusion dance, but they continue to refuse to leave the comfort zone for a change. This is so terrible...

I'm actually okay with it being Potara, because it leaves the Metamoran fusion to the boys and lets them have one unique attribute.

Not really much to say, they did fight like the episode title implied and honestly I liked the fight, I also thought Caulifla and Kale's teamwork was awesome. As another poster pointed out, seeing Goku show off his skill is always a treat.

This tournament would be a lot more interesting if they switched the characters screen time around more often. There's great potential with dialogue here for new team ups and match ups but they keep repeating the same shiz. Goku says the same things to EVERYONE. Pretty boring.

It also bypass the very big weak point of the dance and the very thing people had complained about if they used the dance for the last week, you don't have to practice. The earing will just work.

If the Potara are given mid-tournament I guess that means we could potentially see Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegetto make a return. I'd love to see him fail to defeat Jiren. God knows we'll need to to something with the next twenty-one episodes.

Champa and Fuwa most likely saw how the Kakunsa of Universe 2 gave Ribrianne energy via glow sticks and the defeated members of U7 supplying their energies for the Genki Dama without any penalties so it's no surprise that the two probably think they'll be able to get away with it as well.

I assumed he meant that he was referring to Kale as 'Saiyan' and not Saiyans in general when he said, "That might be the Saiyan's original form." as if Kale's innocent being was a disguise or something
