I started to watch em, then i felt i was spoiling a fair bit of the fun. I look forward to unlocking the characters myself & then take em for a "test drive".

Love that chibi gohan ultimate, i always thought they should have had that in budokai3.

On a semi-related note does anyone have a clip of the dub Akkuman?
I never heard his voice before in English and since I will be playing the game in English I would appreciate a clip to see what I'm in for.

I also noticed Goku calls android 8 "Hatchan" in the what-if battle. I wonder if they will keep the whole "Eighter" thing.
( Didn't the anime dub give him a different name, something Like Eight-man?)
I don't know about Arale(I don't think they'll keep her N'cha or Kiiiin because the dub didn't) but for Android 8, they'll probably go with what Funi's dub called him, Eighter.

Why is it that Mid Goku has the combo used on piccolo and early Goku don't?

I hope they release a soundtrack for this game.

That's the first time I've seen a giant character have a rush attack.

Just wish it wasn't so dark so I could see better.

Alright, stupid question time. What does N'cha and Kiiiin mean? (Not very familiar with Dr. Slump.)

N'cha is Arale's short form of konnichiwa. Ki-n is the sound an airplane makes when flying by, Arale shouts that when running.

But I can't, that's how life is. Time is a bitch. The party is over. Kageyama, Kikuchi, and Maeda are off the sauce now; Yanami almost OD'd; Yamamoto got arrested; Toriyama's not going to light trash cans on fire and hang from the chandelier anymore. We can't get the band back together, and even if we could, everyone's either old, in poor health, or calmed way the fuck down. Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.

Ah, thanks guys. I don't think Arale's dub voice was all that bad, hopefully they'll keep the same actress.

What I have seen from BT3 so far while I visited a friend of mine, is pretty impressive.

Not perfect (like mentioned, body's drop down in story after being vaporized and you can still not use damaged costumes on startup and so on - just little things) but all these teleport counters and new possibilities make the game faster and more fun imho.

The only sad thing is, that I don't understand any japanese (and so doesn't this friend of mine) so we didn't really get some things (like how to grab and throw your opponent or how to make special combos or "transform" to fusions and so on).

I guess there it's just up to wait for an english version (us/eu) ^^"

About story mode:
I had my friend try that - nothing changes when you win a fight not the "real" way.
It always gives the same amout of points after it and in the next level the change you made by winning another way is ignored anyway.

So, nothing changes there and the story mode _is_ pretty short compared to B3 or BT2 - on the other hand the fights are impressive.

I don't know, we've seen people saying that story mode can be changed and we've also seen story mode battles that aren't in that list.

Well, just because the dub didn't keep "N'cha" or "Kiiiin" doesn't mean the game won't though. The dub didn't keep Goten's "Kamekameha" either, but it's in the games.

It can be 'changed' in the sense that some 'battles' actually have multiple confrontations in them, and some might skipped if the player finishes it too quickly.

Look at this battle from that list:
Tenshinhan, Chiatzu, Piccolo, Kid Gohan VS Nappa

It actually works like this:

Tenshinhan VS Nappa pt1
[triggers cutscene]
Chaozu Vs Nappa
[triggers cutscene]
Tenshinhan VS Nappa pt2
[triggers cutscene]
Gohan VS Nappa
[triggers cutscene]
Piccolo VS Nappa
[triggers cutscene]
Goku VS Nappa

It can be 'changed' because any of those fighters might beat Nappa and get a little victory scene, but that doesn't carry on to the next scenario - the Vegeta battle.

That list also only had battles for the tv series, it's missing the movie battles, so it isn't really complete.

I can't say I completely approve of Movie 12 Gogeta having Big Bang Kamehameha. That was his Super Saiyan 4 self's big finisher.

To be fair, he didn't do much in movie 12, so they gotta give him something besides that rush.

True. But I thought him having Kamehameha and Final Flash was good.
