Now THIS is how Funimation should have treated Dragonball

Well not exactually but their is a good reason why I chose this anime series because it's none other than Funimation's recently licenced series Shin Chan which in my oppinion has to be one of their best dubs ever, with a whole lot of humour and the biggest amount of cussing ever!!!

I know many of you give Funimation a lot of grief due to their bad dialouge and over the top acting and going over the top in the grunting department.

But when you see a series like this which has a whole lot of cussing, dirty toilet humour and even sexual jokes... it just goes to show how well Funimation can use their tallent for dubbing shows at their best.

Also note that Shin Chan's mother is voiced by none other than Cynthia Cranz who is also does one badass voice for Chi Chi in DBZ, and it's funny to see her saying a bunch of sexual and dirty jokes in nearly all of her lines and more!!!

This could even be better than my 2nd faveourite dub by Funimation which is Yu yu hakusho

Anyway, ShinChan dub is actually supposedly really bad. They really upped the adult humor, from what I've heard. Too much nudity for a kid's show in America, and not enough cursing for an adult's. It's like one of the ShinChan dubs they made over here, of the two avaiable.

You know, when you think of how absurdly strong Goku is, and how little control he tends to have at times (like when he launched Chichi through a wall and a tree simply by patting her on the back), wouldn't that have potentially deadly ramifications during sex?

I mean, if Goku is in the, uh, heat of passion, he could accidentally pulverize Chichi into chowder.

I don't know. The Shin Chan dub is good for me until they throw in post-2000 pop-culture/American references and jokes, then it becomes absolutely retarded for me for various reasons like, it was made in 1992, in Japan.

I know there were Japanese pop-culture jokes in Crayon Shin Chan, but I don't want to hear a joke about WoW or Jessica Simpson in an anime made before they were even relevant or invented. It's kinda like they thought that nobody in America would watch it if it didn't have those things.
