Two lines in the new story trailer that stand out:
Android 21: I wonder how you all taste?
Android 21: That discharge of power... it'll all be my spice.

To me this very clearly indicates that she either has Cell's ability or Dr.Gero/#19 ki absorption or a mix of both. Basically she eats Ki which will probably explain her strength.

This allows me to guess even more, if she has this gimmick then Dr.Gero/#19 won't be in the game since they would be redundant. I'm also guessing she will only be unlockable after beating the story mode and they might keep this a secret until release.

That's my theory at this point.

By the way, we got confirmation that is indeed the Anison and BGM Pack from XV2 that DBFZ is getting.

Is that true? I sure hope not cause that uses the awful FLOW version of HEAD-CHA-LA.

Unless they change any others, that should be the only non-original.

Also, if #21's goal is to revenge Gero's death, it wouldn't make much sense if #20 is alive, and in the game. (in case it turns out the story mode is about that.)

Watched the French trailer, but it seems the same as the Japanese. Also maybe I've misunderstood you, but I've seen nothing like that around 1:37. Or you just ment the red energy ball?

The red energy ball is also similar to Kid Buu's... Or Android #13's.

But judging from the signature red/black colored energy, it might be just #21 in a different outfit. Like how #18 also appears with different clothes in the story mode.

If you look closely she seemed to have taken traits from the villains:
Saiyan Tail
Majin features and clothes
Frieza Stance
And her dialogue implies that she might have Cell's absorption powers in some fashion.

Do we know what they're going to use for online stuff? I hope it's not their own service and they use GGPO. That is easily the best one and every fighting game that uses it is really good online because of it. Have that made any statements yet?

Unlikely, in other arcsys games like GGXrd there were NPC's used in similar ways.
