They could at least mix the fusions up a bit instead of just 2 Saiyans to create a stronger Saiyan. They could mix the fighters up due to them wanting to use abilties from both individuals into a stronger instead of just getting stronger.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Pretty much all of them except Super Saiyan 4 but let me guess "non canon" right?Boku no Hitto wrote:Honestly, i think this applies to most transformations after Freeza..JazzMazz wrote:I think thats another reason why people don't like them. super saiyan 4 didn't accomplish much either. baby vegeta was kicking Goku's butt that he had to bluff and get energy, the form only made 17 stronger and the only dragon who it beat was eis.New_Guy wrote:Pretty much all of them except Super Saiyan 4 but let me guess "non canon" right?Boku no Hitto wrote:Honestly, i think this applies to most transformations after Freeza..JazzMazz wrote: I think thats another reason why people don't like them. Baby Vegeta also got a power up during the fight so that's not really saying anything, Ssj4 still won that fight and a few others. Where as though each other form only has 1 win or 0.Totamo wrote:super saiyan 4 didn't accomplish much either. baby vegeta was kicking Goku's butt that he had to bluff and get energy, the form only made 17 stronger and the only dragon who it beat was eis.New_Guy wrote:Pretty much all of them except Super Saiyan 4 but let me guess "non canon" right?Boku no Hitto wrote:

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
the point is ssj4 goku was defeatedand he had to get help, he didn't win that fight on his own, which was the whole point of the form. a win is a win and a lost is a lost. And what others? Goku rarely used ssj4 after he got it because only 3 villains afterwards were ssj4 tier and it only worked on one of them, the other one wasn't trying to kill him and the other became omega.New_Guy wrote:Baby Vegeta also got a power up during the fight so that's not really saying anything, Ssj4 still won that fight and a few others. so ssj4 has 2 wins.
ssj1 beat freeza, mecha freeza, king cold, anrdoid 19, semi perfect cell, androids 17 and 18 and yakon and a bunch of othersif we count filler thats even more
ssj2 defeated cell, future dabura and if we count u6 saiyans, that brings that number to 5
ssj3 and ssjg have no wins.
ssjb has a bunch of wins, most from this tournament.
and though it is true most of these victories were against opponents that didn't need that much to take out. a win is a win.

We have interviewed Kimitoshi Chioka in Mision Tokyo, during our "Salón del Manga", in Barcelona. He has said to us that Dragon Ball Super could end in March, but the franchise won't end at all, it will continue as films, series or anything else, they aren't sure yet. Furthermore, they can't confirm that are working on a new film, BUT a new announcement is coming at the end of this year.
-You can watch the full interview here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fV9wRPY9hOE and the extra article from Misión Tokyo here http://misiontokyo.com/noticias/dragon- ... a-pelicula
-And here you are the most important points: https://www.hobbyconsolas.com/noticias/ ... uchos-anos
I hope you like all this information!! They have confirmed that we'll have Dragon Ball for many years, so it's a great time to be a DB fan
Best regards from Spain!!
P.S. All the merit goes for my partner @MASINDAC from @Misiontokyo and @GenisMT, our director. I couldn't be in the interview, so I'm just sharing what they have published!!

I actually really like Vegetto. Even though Gokū and Vegeta clearly don’t like fusing, the latter even more so, Vegetto himself just seems to have so much fun while being fused. Also like the combo of Gokū and Vegeta’s confidence/cockiness.Chuquita wrote:I don't like fusions because it replaces characters I really like with ones that while I still like them, I like them a lot less. (Gokû, Vegeta, Zamasu, and Gokû Black I like so much more as individuals than as Merged Zamasu and Vegetto.)
The only canon(?) fusion who's more than the sum of their parts to me is Gotenks.
I don’t like Merged Zamasu at all. If he had only Gokū Black’s personality, then I would’ve maybe liked him. Gotenks I don’t like a lot either. I’m sure many would disagree, but his personality is way more like Kid Trunks, not a lot of Goten to me.

Wait, Chioka said that the possibility for a new series is still on the table, right?

Gowasu's number 1 fan.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Yep. My workmates have asked him about Jaco, new TV specials, crossovers... Everything is possible. What I'm really impressed about our interview is the security of Chioka when talking about the future of the franchise. He's sure we'll have a lot of Dragon Ball for many years.dragonballhero wrote:Holy ****! For real?? An interesting fact is that we asked him why they decided to continue Dragon Ball right now, after so many years. Chioka said that Dragon Ball Kai was a kind of sounding/poll, to check DB popularity. It went fine, so they started the new adventures.

Well, we've been discussing this possibility for weeks and now we have a first semi-official statement regarding this rumor.MrKaytos wrote:snip
Can't say I'm happy about this. Movies are fine and all when it comes to quality, but it's a series that allows for more narrative development
Thanks a lot for providing the interview!

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Is there any doubt about that? Cause even without new movies and a new anime series for 17 years, it kept going strong.TheDipDap1234 wrote:He said Super could end in March, but maybe it won't. Even if it will end in March, the franchise will still continue.

By the way, I'm not sure if you still have doubts about Future Trunks' blue hair. We asked Hiroyuki Sakurada about that and he said it's all about Akira Toriyama's instructions.

It’s not a rumor. It’s fans jumping to conclusions. Not to mention, I doubt this arc will go to March.Michsi wrote:Well, we've been discussing this possibility for weeks and now we have a first semi-official statement regarding this rumor.MrKaytos wrote:snip

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
This one was obvious, but it's good to finally have a confirmation. FT Trunks keeps having purple hair in every other product and I doubt Toei wanted to change a character's hair color after 20+ years, unless something bigger was happening behind the scenes. If anything I'm glad they managed to keep kid Trunks with purple hair. Unlike Toyotaro who is following everything Toriyama does and gave blue hair to FT and kid Trunks and platinum hair to C18. These changes would also affect Gotenks and Marron's hair colors, so no.6- Trunks volvió a tener el pelo azul en Dragon Ball Super por Akira Toriyama.
As for Super ending in March, it's still soon to talk about that but if it does it will be funny, because some people want to get to the next arc as soon as possible, and we may not have a next arc at all...
A new announcement coming at the end of this year may be at Jump Festa in December.
Overall, good interview. They asked the important questions!

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
So it's really ending in March, or even maybe ending???
Why?? What could be the continuation of super? You guys think there will be a new series or just spinoff and movies??

I’m not going to say I told you so and called it quite yet until it’s official... but I sure will when it is official.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Well, it turned into a rumor along the way. A lot of things were lining up: the extra episode + that the episode number lasted until the end or March which also happens to be exactly when seasons switch and new shows start.HeroR wrote: It’s not a rumor. Granted, I don't understand Spanish that well so I should wait for a translated version of the interview, but still....

It still isn't a rumor. It's fans looking at something and making conclusions based on paper thin evidence.Michsi wrote:Well, it turned into a rumor along the way.
