Super Episode 114 (5 November 2017)

One of the best drawn episodes....

One of the absolute worst piece of shit episodes all ruined by the power puff girls and the ridiculous power level inconsistencies. Nothing makes sense.

Next episode they'll transform and be stronger than whis.


While we're at it with the nonsense at least make golden Freeza stronger than them. How I don't know. He meditated in hell. The dude has a trump card. Someone take these characters out of super please.

Ok, I admit. The power of friendship bit was a little cringe inducing. But that was, like, a small part of the episode.

They were flaunting their friendship sis/protegee love all over the damn episode man...

That alone wasn't so bad as long as it happened during fight scenes. Even Kale's speech at first was okay, it had a nice soundtrack to it, and put a bit more emotion than I'm used to seeing from anything DB related. But then : a tear, sprinkles, and WHOOSH all better now- yeah, that ruined it.

But everything afterward was okay.

Also Kelfa appearing means that you no longer have to witness their friendship shenanigans anymore

That particular scene was cringe, yes, but their overall teamwork chemistry is rather commendable and even showcased some character growth for Kale.

Good for you, I dont share the same sentiments. They were cringe throughout the battle.

Well, we might have focused on different things. That sudden DBZ-type style had me a little dazed.
I thought the girls were okay, but then again, I never had that much of a problem with them

Kefla's design looks great, but I prefer the spandex over Caulifla's baggy pants. The was they heavily pool around her ankles and look like they're barely hanging on to her hips just bothered me.

Incredible episode! The fights were awesome, and the art was 11/10.
I loved how Goku fought this time. The Taiyoken, the pistol move, the tracking ki-ball and foot ki blast were all very cool.

Vegeta is very confident, adding fuel to the theory that he's hiding something which would make him stronger than Goku. Unless he's the same old delusional guy who's too full of himself, but Vegeta should be past that point now.

If this was retconned, either way Kafla is fucked, since the time limit depends on how much power the fusion gives out. Unless they take the Merged Zamasu route, and don't have them defuse early/not effected by anything since Black was SSR when he fused.

Looks like they got the eye shape wrong? Unless she gets them like that when she transforms, but it still wouldn't make any sense. Neither Kale nor Caulifla have round eyes. Either way, I like the sharper eyes more, so I hope this is a mistake.

I liked Catospera. His scene with Frieza was hilarious. Seems like he's getting his ass kicked by the Androids next episode though ;_;

Well, I suspected I'll never be able to like, let alone tolerate Kale but after this episode it's certain..."Sister was supposed to hit you"?? What kind of nonsense is that, are you even a martial artist Kale?? At least both of them disappeared now and it seems Kefla (Kafla?) should be bearable...

Gotta say, not the biggest fan of that look with green hair. Maybe it just looks weird because she has the right skin tone, unlike Kale who went up a few shades of melanin whenever she transformed.

I don't know. Did they ever explicitly state if Goku Black fusing while transformed was a problem for Merged Zamasu? I mean, he was falling apart for multiple reasons, it just seems redundant to mention that as well.

I don't think this is going to be an issue though. We didn't actually see Caulifla and Kale at the point of fusion, so it's easy enough to assume they powered down beforehand. Kefla showed up in base too. I feel like if it was going to be an issue for them, they would've showed it.

The best part of this episode was how gorgeous it looked but I also agree with the sentiment that this and the last episode could easily have been combined.

I do like the friendship of Kale & Caulifla it’s very endearing. And while I am cheering for Goku of course I also kind of like when they get a cool move in. It’s a weird feeling when the other side isn’t evil. It’s like I want you to ultimately lose but no hard feelings.


The rest of the episode while I always like to see Vegeta his parts were kind of meh in this episode. He hasn’t really had a good fight this entire arc (then again most of U7 hasn’t). Just cuts of Toppo & Vegeta really don’t interest me at all. And I love you Vegeta but you definitely are not first among all Saiyans lol.

The Freeza scenes however were fun. So as long as he sees Saiyans beat up he is happy. lol


Next week I am more excited for Android 17 & 18 again then Kefla. Though I bet that will just be some quick cuts too so I shouldn’t get my hopes up.

Animation in this episode was absolutely phenomenal (except the scene where Freeza and Goku talk to eachother. Goku looked a little wonky there)

The Kale and Caulifla scene at the beginning reminded me of Naruto and other animes.

Great fight scenes all around, and thankfully very little talk from the people on the bench.

Freeza ignoring the cop from universe 3 was hilarious.

Kafla looks amazing, and pretty badass so far.

NEP makes me a little scared for 18. Really hope they won't do her dirty in the next episode. I'll be very dissapointed if they do.

The episode overall was way better than I expected. Miles above episode 113 to me. 9/10

He's had it worse than Dyspo. He was blasted by Freeza in 97, got his ass repelled by Jiren's "You must be this tall to ride" barrier in 111, and now it seems like 17 is giving him the business in 115.

Also, can we talk about Cauli's little boxing dance before she starts punching. That was a lovely little addition to everything this episode.

I skipped through most of this. Twice in a row I've did that now. Most interesting parts were with frieza, cato and the the NEP were we see interesting characters again. Hopefully next week is the last of the U6 crap. getting sick of it.

Goku VS Jiren, Goku VS Caulifla + Kale (113-114), Goku VS Gohan VS Lavender, Gohan VS Goku, Majin Boo VS Basil, Kuririn VS Goku, Kuririn VS Majora, 17 VS Kakunsa, Roshi VS Universe 4, Vegeta + Roshi VS Frost + Magetta I'd consider good fights for all these U7 fighters. I agree though that Vegeta doesn't have many good fights imo. At the same time, I find most Vegeta fights to be fairly lame anyway (only fights of his I enjoyed are his fights VS Goku (Saiyan Saga), VS Recoome, VS Black II, and VS Frost + Magetta w/Roshi).

I should have clarified and said besides Goku and during the actual TOP. He’s getting most of the main fights so far.

Most other characters fights are fairly short or when they are getting eliminated.

Of course Goku is the main character but was hoping the other U7 characters would get more chances to shine. I guess Freeza is the other U7 character getting the most love this arc. Roshi also had some great fights but of course he is eliminated now.
