I think that was probably the worst thing in the entire episode. Her archetype is terrible to begin with and she's not doing anything new with it.

Thing is Kale isnt a walking Broly homage anymore, she is now her own character, which makes her bearable.

Now with Tien saying that Kale got stronger in her controlled Berserker form should mean her Broly form wont return again, otherwise it would make episode 114 useless in terms of development.

100 was pure garbage, 114 was the first episode in this arc that actually make like Caulifla and Kale characterization in this series.

She was never a Broly to begin with, she only had the same transformation as Broly. She is very different from Broly actually, in her Berserker she becomes uncontrollable while Broly could control himself, stay stable and speak properly in the first movie. These two characters are very different from each other.

Their motivations are different but in the end Kale will only ever be a cheap Broly knockoff IMO.

Her personality is actually less likeable than Broly IMO. Though I like Caulifla better.

Its not because Kale has the same transformation that it means she is Broly or anything like him... its like saying Goku is Vegeta because they both have SSJB. Kale isn't only an homage to Broly, she always been her own character with Broly's transformation, that's all.

18 has a bigger chance in getting eliminated in the upcoming episode, I mean what can she add to the plot?

I doubt anyone from Universe 7 is going. If you are looking for eliminations it is probably going to be Catopesra, Caulifla and Kale.

Personally I like Kale much more than Broly. Broly always came off as a generic tough guy to me

The word "yandere", a term that blossomed in moe fandom, refers to a character who is crazy about someone else… often literally and violently.

Or to give more definition:

Yanderes are usually identifiable by their blank eyes when they go crazy, blood being soaked on them for the majority of their screentime, carrying at least one signature weapon that they use to kill and/or attack others for the majority of their screentime, a mostly Moe appearance or at least an appearance that will deceive others, psychotic behavior, and a tendency to attack and/or kill people who would get in the way of his/her love. Many of them are Ax-Crazy. When on the Good Guys' team, they are often the Token Evil Teammate.

The character almost always appears perfectly cute and harmless on the surface… but underneath they may be obsessive, controlling, and sometimes just plain insane.

Not seeing how Kale fits yandere since she isn't violent towards Cali and her line towards Goku also doesn't fit a yandere. Maybe you're thinking of something else.

Again, she has room to improve, if we get Planet Sadala Arc(instead of a TV Special or Movie), then Kale will get more development.

She can get stronger too, first thing is she has to train her weak base form.

I feel that 18 might get eliminated too because 17 looked angry when he punches Catospera, first time we see 17 being angry in DBS.

Kale was only shown to be 'crazy' in her Berserk form. Once she got control of it, she's perfect fine and her character is docile. It's not different that an out of control Great Ape.

Berserk form when she had no sense of herself, just like when Goku and Gohan went Great Ape. So, not seeing how that's part of her character, especially once she got it under control.

Kale wasn't obsession since the line was her being mad that her friend got hurt, which is kind of a normal reaction. Her scolded Goku was just funny. And the only 'threat' she gave Goku was to ring him out, which was what she was supposed to do.

I have to agree with this. I'm really not a fan of her personnality, I prefer when she stays calm and silent. She can be cute and all, but I don't know, I just don't like her personnality at all.

But she wasn't angry in 114. She went Berserk because she powered up too much and couldn't control it, then she quickly got control of it. Even in 101 she went into her Berserk form without anger, but out of encouragement from Cali. She also haven't gotten jealous/protective over Cali since 100 since she had no problem standing by last episode and watching Cali have fun. She even smiled and was proud to see what Cali was doing and didn't jump in until Goku invited her. Her reaction to Cali getting hurt this episode wasn't really 'overprotected'.

Yes, it was. Caulifla didn't get hurt. She bumped her head. Kale didn't say "How dare you hurt Sis?" She said "How dare you dodge Sis' attack?" Two completely different things, one is much more insignificant than the other and one definitely makes her look a lot worse and petty than the other.

I'm aware it was played for laughs. I'm saying it wasn't very funny or interesting. It was bad and it made a bad character look even worse.

I don't think they would eliminate a U7 fighter in an episode that doesn't even focus on any of them. Kafla is definitely the main focus here. I don't think Catopesra will go out either, at least not until we see everything his suit can do, and I doubt we will see it an episode that focuses on Kafla. Remember, the guy looks completely different in the Godpad.

17 was also angry when he was fighting Ribrianne. Both of the androids looked angry in the NEP. I say we should wait for the episode to air before making assumptions because NEPs are almost always misleading. If they do eliminate any U7 fighter though, I will be incredibly dissapointed.
