If Kefla is facing Goku in Ultra Instinct then she must be using a ridiculous amount of energy so Kefla defusing could easily happen. Frieza can then finish them knock them off easily.perucho1990 wrote:I think Goku vs Kalefla will end up in a draw otherwise what would be the point of Freeza spectating the fight the whole time?

You've touched on a point I was trying to make when i say it would be a bad idea to have 2 or 6 go out. They still have so much to offer; in fact, as much as people may not want to hear this, in a battle between Ribrianne and the Androids, Ribrianne has more reason to survive. The Androids both had some cool moments early on, but have disappeared for most of the Tournament since. Ribrianne has stayed prominent in the interim and had moments of sympathy, but hasn't actually accomplished anything. If she beat the Androids and got revenge for her teammates from 102, that would justify the focus on her and tie a bow on her arc. The Androids don't have an arc, they're just around to be cool and stoic. They've done a good job of that, can they join the humans in the stands please?CJStriker_CBR wrote: Brianne still has allot to bring to the table and I doubt the writers will end them before they have had their development happen, so I believe this will be a war between 17 and 18 and then that will spell their elimination later 17 and 18. Also U2 will last cause I believe Ribrianne will have another Transformation coming soon to bring her up in power.
I servery doubt U2 is going so soon since they still have more to add to the plot and it be a waste to after having U6 girls go Kefla to fall so fast.
However get worried when it says Tragedy closes cause the universe that would have the most tragedy would be U6 after all the development they went threw, could be a Catullus to bring them back by U7 but we have to see.
It might be U3 cause they have the least development and they where already showing they where fighting 17 and 18 in previews for 115 so that could start their end point as well.
But we have to wait and see.
When I say Ribrianne needs a win more than the Androids, that also applies to Toppo against Vegeta. Because this is what happens when the writers insist on giving so many fanservice moments for Universe 7 without enough losses to compensate. The tournament becomes hugely unabalanced and I find myself desperately rooting against them in every fight just because I want the tension to come back.
If any Universe had to go now it should be 3. They have nothing going for them whatsoever, no focal point and no major threats. At this mid-point in the story, we can afford to lose them. They're not "bad" like 4 or 11 (who are bad in the sense of being the most antagonistic, and in the latter case being the biggest threat to Universe 7), so the term 'Tragedy' could still apply to their loss. I mean, so far every Universal loss has been played for tragedy, starting with the semi-villainous 9, whose episode title included 'Despair'.

question, how is this form lasting longer than Vegetto blue when they are emitting roughly the same amount of power.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Damn. Goku using Ultra Instinct against Kalfa must mean that Kalfa is stupidly powerful when she transforms. Which means the Potara will most likely burn out instantly if she pushes for something like SSJ3 while still fused.
Episode 118 has my most interest. I'd wager that Universe 2 would bit the dust considering they're going up against both Android 17 and 18. They don't have chance against those two unless we see something unexpectedly spectacular from a Universe 2 fighter who hasn't done much so far. Which could very well be the case with how much Super likes decoy protagonists and swerving the audience. Also, considering we've still yet to see the Universe 6 Namekian and Gohan and Piccolo conclude their battle, I think Universe 6 will be be around just a bit longer than Universe 2. But you never know. Even official preview summaries can be very misleading. Always take them with a grain of salt.

Indeed and I am going about reading this is a similar way I think you are and that is by how the story has developed and what the previews say going by the ideals of them telling more of the story as well. I am not just saying U6 to cause I don't want U2 either I want to get that out of the way, U2 can go as well, but by how the story has been set-up, the fights that are going on right now, the focus squarely so much since 111 on U6 and IMO the Key word of Tragedy being in 118 and what Universe would bring the most feelings of Tragedy to this, so much is leaning towards U6.JazzMazz wrote:TBH, I think this batch of episodes is really just a last hoorah for Universe 6. They've been focused on ever since 111, I would be honestly surprised if they continued past this point, since it seems everything has been pointing to them getting eliminated.CJStriker_CBR wrote:I have been reading over those Previews and 1st off Good that we have a scan for them this time to know we have a real deal to talk about.JazzMazz wrote: The main reason people think Kelfa is out, is because chances are Goku wouldn't be in if Kelfa wasn't either pre-occupied by something else or eliminated, since its been made clear that they're trying to eliminate each other.
But going threw the scan's it is always taking away to much from just 2 sencetence previews, their is always more going on in these episodes and it is hard to engage what really happens cause the episodes are so much different then what the previews give.
However with that I did say I would give a theory on them when they came out, sadly while some are leaning towards U2 being the ones to go I say probably not cause I think this will be the Final Battle in 117 threw 118 and maybe on that will lead 17 and 18 to be Ringed out. So think U2 is safe for now but I can be wrong.
Also I think Ribrianne still has a power up and story to go threw.
I still think U3 is most likely to go cause they are the least developed and they have a high chance, but with no mention of them I have to just say if they go it is under the radar right now, only tease is from the previews of 115 of 17 and 18 taking down the policeman and that can be a domino effect on their team maybe.
My sad belief is that it might be U6 cause we have not mention of Kefla after 116 and I doubt Goku would still be in this if Kefla was still around or still powerful enough to keep going. Also we have the U6 Namekins still fighting Gohan and Piccolo and I feel that since they are in combat right now they might be likely to go too.
So add this up with the words Tragedy in their and well and at this point beside U7 who would be the most Tragic Universe to Go?!...................I am not happy about this speculation and I hope I am wrong, but the previews are leading me their.
![]()
Again I can be wrong, but I go by story structure and how it flows and it is flowing in that directions.
I could also lead to the most emotion from U7 and the value of wishing them and the others back the most. A Catullus to all other actions going forward. It also would be some guilt on U7's feelings part since a good amount of them have eliminated U6 combatants the most and a way to right this wrong would be to bring them back and in a degree the others as well.
Again we have to see and time will tell, but Anime is more straight forward in storytelling then comics if find, so it is leading toward U6 right now. More time will tell.

This arc doesn't have tension and I don't think it was even suppose to. You have a bunch of jokes and parody characters actually being parody characters, Goku is rarely trying against anyone. Not too mention, we know everyone is coming back via super dragon balls.Kataphrut wrote:You've touched on a point I was trying to make when i say it would be a bad idea to have 2 or 6 go out. The only reason why the universe destruction was added was because it was the only intelligent way to gather all these fighters.
Its just about fun and cool fights, why do you think Goku is having fun.

Rib being around for so long and getting so much focus is actually more reason for her to be knocked out, especially since the androids haven't done anything since 103.Kataphrut wrote:

Indeed Very Good Points and it is why I am severely hoping I am wrong on U6 and that the Universe going is U3 and it could happen Under the Radar from these previews. We saw the policeman fighting 17 and 18 and that could be he is going next and that starts an under that radar story of U3 going, some per each episode up until 118 which is enough time to give them a going away story. I like U3 too so it is hard to see them go, but their development has been lacking sadly.Kataphrut wrote:You've touched on a point I was trying to make when i say it would be a bad idea to have 2 or 6 go out. Yeah, although I expect Freeza to toy with them first(Perfectly in character) and also destroying the potaras, so Kalefla doesnt return again.namekiansaiyan wrote: If Kefla is facing Goku in Ultra Instinct then she must be using a ridiculous amount of energy so Kefla defusing could easily happen. While it looks good it could also be bad because one of the girls could end up surviving due to plot-shield.

We don't know how long Vegetto Blue lasted and defused because of the Final Kamehameha, not Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan itself.Totamo wrote:question, how is this form lasting longer than Vegetto blue when they are emitting roughly the same amount of power.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Oh, they'd be emitting nowhere near his level of power. Caulifla and Kale's max potential are Super Saiyan 2 and Berserk respectively, both of whom are weaker than a tired Godku. Whereas Vegetto Blue was made up of Goku and Vegeta, with Kaioken and Blue respectively as their max, both of whom had just eaten senzu beans. In other words, if Kefla is able to fight fatigued Kaioken Goku at her max potential, then she's not even as strong as *one* of Vegetto Blue's components, or maybe a little bit stronger depending on how well she does against him. Either way, Vegetto Blue himself...hoo boy, he's putting out a lot.Totamo wrote:question, how is this form lasting longer than Vegetto blue when they are emitting roughly the same amount of power.
Besides, how many "minutes" was Vegetto Blue fused for? Because if Kefla unfuses at the end of 16 (which isn't confirmed in the summary), then she'd have only been around for "three minutes".
