So I’m realizing we’re still close to a Dragonball fuse fest now that we know anyone can throw their potara earrings into the ring at anytime...
It looks like we avoided the one, but still plenty of opportunities for it.

I think they used that scene with the gods discussing the potaras to do away with the expectation of a fusion fest. What's funny is how the summary made it seem like they were all now eager to use fusion as well and were formulating plans and such, and then in the actual episode most were "Yeah, nope, don't need'em".

Right which is why it makes no sense. It’s a move that’s clearly allowed, grants power multipliers by tens and is temporary and reusable. It’s not like this is a casual friendly tournament, their entire survival depends on this. For them to say “ nah I’m cool” makes no sense.

Its a double edged sword, while it does have its advantages it can also have its disadvantages such as potentially losing two of the best fighters, fighters not being careful and diminishing their hour quickly like Vegetto.

I wish 118 was about U2 vs U6, it wouldve made the fight completely unpredictable, imagine if it was Caulifla or Kale(whoever survives UI Goku and Frieza) vs Brianne, loser gets deleted, u know a fight with TENSION and very unpredictable...

That isn't tension since Kale and Cali can wiped anyone in U2 from what we have seen. Brianne struggled with base form Goku.

Honestly it would be a Good Fight with U6 and No the Fight with Base Goku is not a good measuring stick for Brianne/Ribrianne since she already proved she was far stronger then this earlier in the ToP. It still was a good fight and gave good wording development to how strong Brianne/Ribrianne was both from Goku himself and those in the stands like the GoD of Liquiir which were nice addings to here development in power. Just Toei for some reason loves base Goku and keeps him their overly-much, even others I talk to about this says it made little sense.

Yup, there it is. It's funny how the stand-in hinted at the character being female, but the pose was completely different.

The moment she was revealed, we had to know that statue was going to be Kefla. They picked a neutral silhouette because people would have known right away it was a Saiyan otherwise. Still surprised there's Hit but no Jiren.

I also wish they'd gone with her base look, it's much better. The Super Saiyan version looks out of place next to the other three, especially in that pose.

It wouldn't really hurt to literally have it in their back pockets. If your team is up against the ropes it seems like a pretty good way to have them get 20-50x stronger than your two warriors combined.

I'd pay $$$ NOT to get that. Annoying thing getting an annoying figure. Of all the characters they could've picked, it had to be her.

That would make sense so she'll probably stay in somehow. Goku could just knock her away or she just separates and both escape. That's assuming they don't throw Goku off the stage and take over the whole show.

For a reason Freeza is there, to make sure Kalefla doesnt escape, Jiren will probably be busy with Vegeta.

I am going to predict that the Kamehameha does not finish Kefla but they land right next to Frieza and he does finish them.

Huh, there is this one guy who rose to my level of power and he proved that he can still improve and get back to it, my strongest ally is in a match that can go either way and my second and last ally is scared to attack Frieza. Well, I guess the most prudent course of action is doing nothing at all and wait for the doom of my universe to unfold.
