As far as Sonic goes, it's about darn time. I'm a bit disappointed they didn't decide to go with his 16-bit design instead of his new look (here's hoping it's an alternate costume).
True its one of his newer forms, but if you'll notice in the video when he's on a ledge he wobbles back and forth like he did in the genesis games. X3
And the way his character moved in the video reminded me more of the older games than the newer ones. He glides more than walks in the newer games.

*Is Genesis player from years a-go* ^^;

I'm still not used to his "new" voice though. I'll always remember Sonic's old Urkel voice I suppose. (forgive me I temporarily forget the guy's name @_@ )
Yeah, after hearing "Sonic's the name, Speed's my game" I immediately turned the video off, loaded up the Japanese version of the site and watched that video instead.

I'm interested in knowing more about the movie battles. Are there more than one fight per movie? Is every movie (with the obvious exception of Movie 11) represented?
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

Movies are all one battle each I believe. Not sure if they are all represented or not.

I think, all Movies are represented but the 11th and the 1st.
The first is replaced with a fight Piccolo vs. Garlic Jr. on Kami's Lookout which seems to take place during the filler arc where Garlic Jr. returns in DBZ.

Some movies have more than one battle.
Brolly and Bojack have two I think.
For movie 8 for instance the two are:
1.) You fight all Z-fighters with Brolly.
2.) You fight Brolly with Goku.

For Specials:
Special Bardock is represented but somehow changed again so that Bardock wins and Mirai Trunk's history is not represented.
There are some What-Ifs instead.

I think that's all.

Does anyone know why Spike considers #17, #18 and so on as villains and on the other hand Bardock as a good guy?
That somehow bothers me... well perhaps it's just another one of the reasons created so they can say "We need a Tenkaichi 4" :P

At least the world tournament stage seems to be glitchy - many characters fly against the walls to ring-out just by maneuvering - that's not exactly my favorite victory xD

Will there be a feature similar to B3 (Dragon Arena)? I mean something with levels where you have to train hard like the Dragon Arena in B3..... not something softy like an "item" (in BT2) where your character has reached in 1 hour the max level.......

i mean...okay...starting the story......few days later, i finished the game and unlocked all the characters....nice....any new mode to unlock? no...... ok..... so what's next? Ultimate Battle!!!....alright....*2 hours later*.....ok finished.....anything else? Training.....nah.....now the bored part starts now.....you have nothing anymore to do......no build up mode......

Budokai 3 is still my favourite DB-game. Please guys don't feel attacked if you liked BT2 or BT1. When i bought it and started play, i thought: WOW This game will be so much fun!!!!! But soon i realized it wasnt that fun for me^^

:? This is what seems disheartening to me. There are more characters in this game than ever... but yet the story mode, which is where I spend a bulk of my time in these games... is shorter than heck. I was hoping this would be extensive and take up a lot of time. It's seeming like you could complete it in a day or two T_T

People play the storymode more than once?

RVE,
Actually in BT2 i spend a lot of my time in Ultimate battle mode building up my characters levels. So that's your build up mode right there.

And doesn't BT3 have some sort of training mode where you build up your character over 10 (simulated) days or something?

Budokai 3 was actually more superior to NEO's. Besides lacking a visible Kami's Hideout on the map, Budokai 3's map actually has more visual variety, in which certain locations popping up at a certain point of the story mode. Examples: Trunks' rusty time machine, Babidi's Spaceship, City Remains after Nappa destroyed it, Cell Game Ring, Dr. Gero's uncovered lab entrance, etc. Plus they have sparks at the supposed item locations.

And about the audio:
GameSpot wrote:Audio hasn’t been skipped in the process, with our copy offering 21 battle-themed tracks with names like "Caution!", "Shootout in Meteor", "High and Scream", and "Heat Capacity".
Ugh! Sounds like the original "Japanese" music is back. I really hope our beloved Yamamoto-san will put more effort into this game than NEO's mostly random tracks, if he's involved with BGM's again. The rest of the article.

Simple side question...err...dudes.

Would you like fries with that? Ok, that was terrible. Um, actually...I wanted to know is...should I import the game. I can't wait for the American release and I love the music.

Oui or non?

Yay I got my game today from Playasia. I love it! It seems harder than it used to be and I love that. And I love the Japanese music. Makes the game so much more awesome. I love Super Survivor!

I have found something on YouTube that's pretty weird. Have you ever heard of Japan getting our music? Yeah, me neither. But this video seems to say that they have, or is it just a fake?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kM5cfq2tWHw

What I think is that this is a fan-made prank. It could just be somebody taking a video showcasing the Japanese songs, editing it to take out the Japanese music, and putting in the US music, but that's just my opinion. I just thought you would want to know. Discuss! :)
Next quest: Buy the Super: Broly and Super Hero Blurays, also Daima whenever that releases in the states. Also the Super Manga!

Fan of Dragon Ball Z and various other Anime since '98! ^^

List of Anime I own or have watched - http://myanimelist.net/animelist/SSJ3Goku

Ha that's great, easily busted though for those who can read Japanese. As much as I hate that rock-techno stuff I wouldn't mind it being in the game as side-tracks.
Aro started to laugh. “Ha, ha, ha,” he chuckled.- Actual quote from Twilight

No freakin' way. The very existence of Bruce Faulconer's track immediately proves its falsity. Furthermore, those who can read kana would tell immediately that it is false. You're right, it's just a prank.....a very unimaginative one at that.

Of course. I hardly touched any modes other than Story and Versus in the Budokai/Sparking games.

I play all the modes in the games, but I too am disappointed with the story mode. Course, I also don't like automatically having the other characters from BT2 - takes away from the playablility for me. Still, I'm gonna get this game and love every bit of it - just some less than others.

I can't read kana and I can tell it's fake just by listening to it.

Gah, the NA release better have the Japanese tracks. If I don't get to kick ass as Piccolo with his familiar theme blaring, I'm going to be miffed. With the new season sets, there's no reason not to have it. Why not just make the Japanese music selectable in the options like the voices. Make everybody happy!

It was great in terms of detail and scale but it actually gets some things wrong, not least adding in an entirely new island. If you look at the official map of the DB world you'll see that the BT2 one is correct and the B3 one is incorrect. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean to be snobbish about it but it's just that when there is an official map it makes sense to refer to it when recreating the DB world for a videogame.

On a related note, I thought it was a little bit lazy how when entering Kami's Lookout or Karin's Tower, your character actually lands at the base of Karin's Tower (as if they were landing in any of the other, ground-level locations) whereas in BT3 they actually go up into the air.

I think the story mode this time around is actually better than it was in BT2. So what if it isn't as long? Dodgy cutscenes of events I'm very familiar with followed by a battle that I could set up myself in VS mode isn't my idea of fun. It's cool how in BT3 the battles in Story Mode are actually staged and not just a generic X vs Y battle that can be found in other modes. I see it as the developers know that we all know the story by now (even if we'd never seen the anime or manga we'd know from all the games going through it again and again) so they may as well just make the battles more varied and scripted rather than making us go through 500 identical battles.

B3 got the "roaming Story Mode" thing right, with hidden events and being able to fly around with the Dragon Radar to search for the Dragonballs - if BT3 can do something more like that where the world map isn't just a 3D menu to pick the next battle, I'll be glad to see a more expansive Story Mode but I'll take the tighter and more polished battles of BT3's Story Mode over the endless generic fights in BT2's Story Mode any day.
