I just watched the scene, and they jumped out of the way of boulders which nearly collapsed on them from Kafla and Goku's powering up.

What happens to Universe 2 then especially with Ribrianne transforming as they need to show her fighting in it.

What happened to Universe 2 in episode 117 then? How can they ignore a brand new transformation for Ribrianne unless Universe 2 are finished in episode 117.

That remains to be seen. If Ribrianne finishes her fight with 18 in 117 then she might just be put in the background the way Vegeta vs Toppo and Piccolo/Gohan vs Pilina/Soanel happened for the last couple of episodes.

Since it isn't Goku she's fighting, there is no reason to assume they'd give Ribrianne's transformation several episodes like they did with Kefla. She isn't a saiyan or the final boss.

It is the Namekians in episode 118 and not even Zarbuto is not out in episode 117 as he is fighting Frieza in episode 118.

I don't see the problem. Ribrianne fights 17 and 18, midway transforms from her Brianne state into this new thing, and then fights until the end of the episode. Ribrianne isn't that big of a character like Kafla, the first female SS fusion, to have centric episodes as Michsi said. Plus, Toppo vs Vegeta was expected to be big too, but got shafted as a background fight for the most part.

Yeah, there is still hope he will stick around for longer. Keeping expectations low tends to make it easier for me to be pleasantly surprised.

The Namekian fight has actually had great choreography and teamwork with absolutely no lost limbs.
