Now I 100% get what you mean. I still don't think it was bad last week but damn this looks so much better.Asura wrote:Now that's how you draw Kefla. So much better! Art and animation this episode were on fire. Just awesome!
Also was it Higashide in the end? It looked like him.

I don't seem to find the contributions of takahashi in 115, can someone point me them out?

Understandable, he stuck pretty close to the model sheets, likely for consistency. Here's some shots of his.cuartas wrote:I don't seem to find the contributions of takahashi in 115, can someone point me them out?

yeah, hard to tell since he just used Z cheek shading in one of them and 3 shading layers was never usedArchedThunder wrote:Understandable, he stuck pretty close to the model sheets, likely for consistency. But I'm suspicious, was he really stuck to the sheets or was he corrected? I mean, I don't seem to find a reason where he could be stuck to them to that level
Thanks

No. It'll be solo animated or mostly solo animated.majinwarman wrote:Will 117 be something to look forward to or not in terms of animation? Please do not stated any spoilers about plot.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

Yashima Yoshitaka, a veteran animator known for his insane speed. His drawings and timing are nothing special, but as an asset he is indispensable for a series that has little production time.majinwarman wrote:Who will solo animate the episode? What is Super current production time schedule for this arc. I heard it was 6 to 8 weeks per episode, but I want to make sure that I'm right and misinformed.JulieYBM wrote:Yashima Yoshitaka, a veteran animator known for his insane speed. Yes, those are him, he's very versatile and has show that he can mimic pretty much every DB style.cuartas wrote: yeah, hard to tell since he just used Z cheek shading in one of them and 3 shading layers was never used

Supervisors generally have 8 or 9 weeks between episodes now, but there aren't enough animators still.majinwarman wrote: What is Super current production time schedule for this arc. I heard it was 6 to 8 weeks per episode, but I want to make sure that I'm right and misinformed.
We've been seening the staff grow at a pretty nice rate in the second half of this year, so it's getting there and most animators are getting at least 3 weeks to work on episodes with a few fairly regularly getting 4 or 5 weeks with the odd 6 weeks. Even if/when we get to the point where the average animator is getting 5+ weeks Yashima will still be a huge asset because that just means more time for animators regardless.

That shot of Vegeta looks a lot like Takahashi. I wonder if he's contributing 2nd KA again. That'd sure elevate a Yashima episode!

Whoa, SSJ Gohan actually looks great in his green tracksuit at 0:42. If only Toriyama new anorexic style hadn't ruined everything.Bonus Stage wrote:Impressive Original Arworks Collection.

So Toriyama did indeed design Frost's assault form and final form. They never released those designs though, this video is the first time I see them.Bonus Stage wrote:Impressive Original Arworks Collection.

It's not the first time we've seen that, that height chart has been posted a few places before.emperior wrote:So Toriyama did indeed design Frost's assault form and final form.
