What was the last thing in Db/z/gt to make you crack up?
For me it was when I was watching the season 1 boxset released by funimation; Master Roshi was at the hospital with Goku after his fight with Vegeta and he kept trying to make advances on the nurse. Soon after the doctor walks in and tells him, "Cut it out, Gramdpa Gladhands". For some reason I thought that was hilarious.
So, how bout you guys? What was the most recent thing you saw in Db/z/gt to make you laugh?
Yay for topic 2000!

I just recently watched DBZ Movie 10. Krillin's dub line, where he kinda breaks the fourth wall after saving Gohan was classic.
"You guys wouldn't have lasted a season if it wasn't for me."

Ah, as much as I dislike the dub at points, it seems Sonny Straight usually does a good job as Krillin. That line was pretty funny.the_abberration wrote:I just recently watched DBZ Movie 10. Krillin's dub line, where he kinda breaks the fourth wall after saving Gohan was classic.

There are two things that they said in the dub that I thought were kinda funny:
1) In the Freeza saga Krillin said something to the effect of: if Freeza finds me he'd put my butt in a sling. Just the way he said it was hilarious.
2) In the Buu saga, when goten and trunks were trying to fuse, at one point Piccolo was like: " his name is mud as far as i'm concerned." The first time I heard that I was cracking up.

That was one of Piccolo's best lines.mystic trunks wrote:2) In the Buu saga, when goten and trunks were trying to fuse, at one point Piccolo was like: " his name is mud as far as i'm concerned." The first time I heard that I was cracking up.
If only I could think of one...
I guess everything that Piccolo said to Gotenks after he was practically mauled by Majin Buu.
Next quest: Buy the Super: Broly and Super Hero Blurays, also Daima whenever that releases in the states. Also the Super Manga!

Well, actually, he doesn't exactly mean the kind of mud that you see on the ground. My infinite knowledge tells me that John Wilkes Booth jumped off the balcony where he killed Abraham Lincoln, breaking his ankle. He then found a doctor who's last name was Mud. He helped Booth heal his ankle. Everyone hated the doctor after that, even though the doctor had no idea that he just killed the president.

It's filler, but I laughed so hard when I first saw Goku's backwards/fowards/yo-yo running on Snake Way a few eps before Pikkon is introduced. What made it for me was that the music actually played backwards when he ran backwards.
It's, hard to explain. It's a very visual gag. The whole scene came completely out of left field and I loved it.

On hiatus.
I think I can picture it. XD Got an episode number?Chuquita wrote:It's filler, but I laughed so hard when I first saw Goku's backwards/fowards/yo-yo running on Snake Way a few eps before Paikuhan is introduced. What made it for me was that the music actually played backwards when he ran backwards.

Episode 180 (for the dub at least)SSj Kaboom wrote:I think I can picture it. Aro started to laugh. “Ha, ha, ha,” he chuckled.- Actual quote from Twilight
The fake Cell Games video. Episode 195/210. Both the Saiyaman and World Tournament Sagas had a bunch of good humorous moments before it regressed into the monotony of the Majin Boring Saga.

I trust you're talking about the original edited dub. That same line was in the UUE and the delivery was awful there.Eclipse wrote:Raditz' line in the first couple of episodes about 'Excuse me, has anyone seen my arm? You can't miss it. It's GREEEEEEEEEN!'
I dunno why, but I love the delivery on the last part.

For me, it's a tie between the two series that actually aren't DBZ. In original DB before the 21st Budokai when Roshi tells the mermaid Goku brings him "So how about you and I go inside to learn more about our species!?", only to get knocked out with a glum expression and agree with Goku that was training to keep his guard up...classic! That and a scene in GT when Goku's trapped in a game-board dimension and has to face some psychological test of will in order not to cry, when the onions don't work, the deities of the dimension conjure a pissed Chichi dressed as a nurse and have her give him a shot right in the arse. Never laughed so hard outside those two scenes.

I found Goku's continued "gender inspecting" moments to be hilarious, where he just keeps randomly patting people's crotches, and then later on in the series acts extremely proud as he's able to determine someone's sex just by looking.Raki wrote:The episode in Dragonball where Goku "inspected" Bulma and was surprised to find that she had "no balls".
