I think the classic go-to answer would be Broli, but quite frankly I see more obnoxious complaining about the overeager/obnoxious Broli fans than I see from/of these supposed Broli psychofans themselves. Seems like a weird sort of kinda reverse self-fulfilling prophecy in some ways.

That's what I came to say. I think we're past the Broly fanboyism, and have gone into right the opposite where everyone complains about him and his fans, and I'm not seeing the blind fanboyism there used to be.

I mean, there's still all of the Heroes cards of Broly and whatnot, but his fanbase seems to have either piped down or moved on for the most part.

I agree with you in essence, but reactions to a particular character do get to me, though I can't think of a character in DB that applies to. Felicity Smoak on Arrow is such a character. People either love her or hate her. She's either the messiah or the anti-Christ. She's either the sole reason some watch or the sole source of Arrow's problems. I find both viewpoints to be misguided, just like I would for a DB character. I guess this sort of issue doesn't apply so much to characters as it does reactions to the in-house DBZ dub.

As it is now, Gohan and Vegeta. Broly used to be up there for sure, but that's kinda died down. In a way there's more anti-Broly fans than there are Broly fans in terms of notability (being vocalised and such).
Notably, there's a surprisingly loud anti-Vegeta fanbase. It's almost astonishing to see the lengths some people will go to in order to hate on Vegeta. It's a very similar situation to the Broly one, actually; the haters are just as vocal and "rabid" as the lovers (for lack of a better term).

The following observation doesn't really come from this forum, but others that I've been on. I've been on various Dragon Ball forums since 2003 and they are a mixed bag, so just know that my post doesn't reflect Kanzenshuu's population.

Honestly, it used to be Broli. Broli used to have those kinds of fans that just wouldn't be reasoned with. But then it died down... not sure why. They probably started getting too much heat, and quite honestly, I feel like the feeling kind of never went away. People have so much hate for Broli and chalk it up to the Broli fans who went way too far with their love for Broli... and yet, I haven't seen that kind of love for him since like 2005.

Up next, we've got the Vegetto fans. The ones who would claim that Super Saiyan Vegetto could trump Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta just because. This was obviously pre-Super. And I don't know if it was too much love for Vegetto or just hate on GT (since Super Saiyan 4, and Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta were original GT concepts).

And finally, the Vegeta fans. I'm not particularly saying that they're wrong to like him, seeing as he has become the second main character of the story --and I don't know what he's doing in Super but obviously he plays a huge role -- but pre-Super, people were just so dead-set on Vegeta being featured more. They would get really heated about how Vegeta should have done this and should have done that.

I haven't really seen the Gohan fans, to be quite honest. The most I've seen is the popular belief that Gohan's portrayal after the Boo arc was poor (because many would prefer if he was still a top-tier fighter). Otherwise, I haven't really seen that rabid fanbase for him.
