Question on The Animation of Episode 186 of Dragon Ball Z

Post by Rads » Thu Nov 30, 2017 2:22 am

Hello all, happy monday. I am new to this site my name is Rads. In all of dragon ball my favorite charrecter has always been teen gohan ssj2. His sheer badassery is what makes him so great.
I like him so much I've drawn my fair shair of images of him. I'd go so far as to say he's kind of all I draw for some reason he's the easiest for me to draw.

I came here because I wanted to see if anyone knew who animated gohan in episode 186 of dragon ball z specifically this drawing here: file:///C:/Users/Joseph/Desktop/Gohan%20SSJ2%20Drawing.PNG

Please forgive me I don't really know how to identify animation styles. Just wanted to see if anyone had the answer thanks for your time!

Hello! I assume you're new to message boards, because you need to upload an image to an image host such as Imgur to link to an image.

Also, this site has an episode guide that also includes the credits, which show who animated each episode. 186 was supervised by Masayuki Uchiyama, who also provided key animation alongside the more talented Tai’ichirō Ohara.

If it's a shot you like, chances are it was Ohara, but we'd need the shot before that can be ascertained.

I do like his work. Although I think his eyes are a bit to square for my taste. But his work on this one shot of teen gohan I really admire!
