It's a travesty 17 and 18 are based on their Cell saga versions.

I don't think Broly and Kale will be clones if they are in the game. Kale has her own form now and Broly also has his own moveset, both characters can be really fun to use. Kale as controlled LSSJ and Broly as LSSJ.

Surely Broly would play most like Juggernaut, I just don`t think he`s as relevant now because the girls not only have what made his look "pop" and equally play the big brute role as they`re more versatile in switching mode/forms, they`re females (which we could use more of) and they`re in the show proper.

I have no stakes on him, make him a DLC if that helps but to me he`s the most one-note villain of the franchise and that is no small feet

Nah, LSSJ Broly will most likely be chosen. Besides, Berserk Kale ain't even that popular compared to him (and even Caulifla). The girls didn't steal any "relevance" from Broly, the fanbase for him will always be there, whether you like it or not. Caulifla could have a similar tag-team playstyle like Android 18's.

Picking both Kale and Caulifla as characters would be overkill. If do they get picked, I expect Kefla to be the character who'd incorporate moves from all it's parts.

I don't have much interest in these characters to be added to the game as it stands. There's a plethora of characters with potential to be cooler gameplay wise.

They used what was before a look solely associated with Broly for a proper "canon" character, that is undeniable. I have no invested interest in one and I have minimal investment with the others, altho I see potential in them given the characterization they gave us.

But speaking of Broly, he might actually even be in the base roster now that most iconic "Z" characters are already in, including the last major villain, so maybe the last batch are Toei movie ins? But we still have Toryama characters who are part of the major family and largely popular like Beerus and even perjaps Jaco as the gag in.

Jus FYI, they wouldn`t because this production not only is good value, they`re competent at designing their pick choices to be included. Of that I have no doubt, whether any of us likes a given character or not. Personally, I just don`t wish to have the game flooded with Saiyans. Yes, I know they`re the major draw for a good deal of folks but don`t overdo it. The irony is that Drago Ball is so much bigger and wonderfully odd than just the Saiyans even if that`s where the franchise chooses to mainly focus these days.

Oh wait, there`s Ubb as well but I`d be a hypocrite to vouch his inclusion now that two Majin are already here (and a possible female one for the game, I think I`ve seen that rumor float around) despite him being a born Eartling. Oh, Roshi too.

So yeah, enough for a last batch :D

It's kind of weird to me how much you look at it that way. It's not even an afterthought for me. It's an "otherthought"; something I don't think of until others bring it up. I wanted Yamcha, Tenshinhan and Kuririn in the game because I like their characters, not because I needed Earthlings(and still want Roshi). I do happen to want more Saiyans in the game, and it's not because they're Saiyans, it's because I like their character.

I sure hope they wouldn't be excluded because someone's being racist. :P

And yes, liking a character is almost all I'm concerned about, because there's a ton of room to make these characters fight like whatever they want mechanically. Yamcha didn't have to be a rekka character. SS Goku could just as easily have been more the zoner that Freeza is.

Even if his double bypass and double lung transplant go perfectly his life expectancy will only be about 3 years, so even if he gets well and comes back to voice acting he likely won't be acting for long.
Sorry to be a downer.
3years? Do you have a source for this?
https://www.healthline.com/health/lung-transplant
Statistics are mainly for a single lung transplant, but even a single only gives the person a 50/50 shot of living another 5 years.

Yeah, the way I put does sound like I care about quotas :) I don`t at first. First comes characters and then comes diversity and is in that context I don`t wish the game flooded with any particular group (Saiyans, Namekians, Eartlings, Majins).

It's out-of-touch to demand ToP material in the base game. The arc hasn't even finished! Didn't Xenoverse do something like shove unfinished characters from the Future Trunks arc? How did that turned out?

For anyone who wants to know, V-Jump isn't releasing on the 21st this month. They change their schedule to coincide with Jump Festa. That's why V-Jump leaked earlier last year(the 14th), and why it will (likely) leak early this year.

This is both.
So far, the only Super thing in this game is Goku Blue Kaioken.

I'd like to see some Super characters in the game, but right now I think only Hit will be in the game from the get go... I guess some of those 8 DLC guys will be from Super.
