Vegeta - who hasn't gotten much focus this arc and was teased at being yanked out of the ring but that could've been a red herring

You can see him spin to grab at the edge of the ring as he's going over. Almost certainly a red herring.

I think one of the ones that are going to be eliminated is 18, Vegeta or Gohan. I really hope it's 18 haha.

I think most of us do,18 got way more than she needed,also the fact that he got better treatment than her husband who has been in the main cast almost since the beggining is criminal.

Someone's gotta make it to the end after all their build up and Krillin taking the fall on that front. I want to see Gohan directly interact with Goku before he goes out, if it has to happen.

Jokes aside,the only ones that are gonna be important is Goku,Freeza and maybe Vegeta(i say maybe because we most likely get a surprise elimination and he is the most likely one),its not like they are being subtle about it either,there is a good and obvious reason those 3 have the most eliminations.

18 has had a lot of meaningful fighting time and way more than Gohan, Piccolo, Frieza. We still haven't seen 17 at full power so getting revenge on the Bugs for 18 makes sense. The preview seems to highlight 17 a bit which would fit. They rushed last episode so I wouldn't be surprised if all this happens in only episode 119.

Toshio said that he finished writing a cool Vegeta moment back in September, so Vegeta will survive episode 119, that leaves either 18, Piccolo or Gohan.

18 should be go out first, although I wouldnt be surprised if she gets eliminated later vs U3.

If Gohan does have a big 1 vs 1 fight I think that person he faces is the person that beats Piccolo and I don't think that is Shantsa.

There could always be a surprise with Frieza or sonehow Goku gets eliminated but returns later to face Jiren like how he returned in the last tournament.

I still feel that many of you are overestimating Gohan and 17's importance to this arc.

I would like everyone remaining to do something to help Goku beat Jiren no matter how small it is but since the old episode title hinted at a loss for Universe 7 that probably won't happen.

I expect hardly any Goku and Gohan interaction as Goku will probably interact with Vegeta and Frieza the most.

Speaking of team attacks, a Piccolo/17 combo would be great, considering their rivalry in the Cell arc, referenced even in the Recruitment episodes.

Seeing as Piccolo regained his respect for Gohan as a warrior this past episode, that pair can break up at any time, I'd say. 18 probably has to go tho. 17 can only babysit her so much.

If 18 drops out then maybe Gohan can go over to Goku allowing 17 to go with Piccolo to do something.

The last episode did feel like the culmination of their plot-line, but it wasn't about finding respect for Gohan, it was about role-reversal and everything coming full circle. Piccolo for once being the one that needed a pick-me-up and Gohan providing it was great, but I don't know where they could go further from here. I still see a proper pair-up between Goku and Gohan in the future, probably against Jiren, so Gohan going down before the final stretch of the arc starts seems unlikely.

A Piccolo/17 combo would be lovely, though. We've seen all sorts of match-ups this arc, and this seems one of the more logical ones.

I can understand a proper Goku and Gohan team up but just not againnst Jiren. This is a fight that should be a 1 vs 1. Gohan might be able to help for about 20 seconds.

I never said it would happen but that is what I think would need to happen for a 17 and Piccolo team up that Draconic mentioned.

I want them all to stay to the end as I still feel they can do stuff and I am not happy how early the other 3 went out. They seem like they have just been sacrificed to become commentators especailly Krillin.

The reason i only mentioned 18 is because Krillin is the whole reason 18 is even here to begin with,not to mention 18 being written as bipolar for the majority of this arc does not help either.

And Gohan wont go out until he gets his big moment, Obuni and the Namekians werent Gohan big moments, it would probably be him fighting Dyspo.

Good to hear. It looked very red herring too animation wise.

Right now I'm thinking he'll last till near the end, but probably get rung out (if he gets rung out) by Toppo in late January.

Not really, Goku and Gohan wanted 18 to fight with them from the start since they knew she's strong, and 18 wanted to participate to get more money for her family not because Krillin is participating as well. Also the only time I remember her acting "bipolar" was when she scolded Krillin for losing. She has been amazing in the past few episodes.
Debatable. I've actually seen many people who wanted to see her fight more and not just because of her gender.

They could have easily extended the fight against Saonel and Pirina.

Beating Saonel and Pirina is a bigger achievement than beating Dyspo who ran away from Final Form Frieza. If you can catch the Rabbit then he is finished.

I am not. I just don't think he will team up with Goku to fight Jiren and that he is behind Vegeta and Frieza.
