That is so awesome... I need to try it when I get the game.

I love the fights that last a long time. I don't think 3 or 5 is enough health bars.
No it is not longer possible.
The only thing there is, is to use Goku/Vegeta +lifebars +2 (Kaio's training) and then fuse with them in-game.
Then you get a blue bar, there are no longer good enough items to make a fight last longer - sadly imho, but anyway...

Also you can't take multiple times the same character to "simulate" a longer fight (like in Supersonic Warriors for example).
So the fights are shorter, but we have to live with it - it's still fun to play the game though ;)
1.Damn, blue bars were fun... And now their gone.... Probably the first mistake beside just sticking to Future Gohan having one arm and not two. But it can work for his 'pull' move, like Janeba (sp?), they could make it seems like his going for the punch, like having an invisible arm pull them closer while only the one arm tries to hit.

2.They still haven't fix the multiple same character thing? My love for the BT series has again gone down by an inch, of all thing they could do, they didn't do this. Wow.

And question for those who own the Japanese series of Sparkling (is there such a person?), do you need to continuously place BT1 inside the PS2 to play one Ultimate Battle or place it inside once, to unlock Ultimate Battle?

There is an item called 水の恩恵 (Water Blessing) Which heals your health and Ki in water and is only for Evil characters. Seems like a very useful item (Unless your in the desert or any other area without water) and it only takes up 1 slot.

Why only evil characters though?

Also there's an item called ブロリーの輪 (Broly's Ring) which seems to prevent anyone from transforming, is that just for the user or everyone in battle (I'm guessing everyone).

Maybe it's supposed to reference the Aquamist that Garlic Junior used in the show.

Are there any online guides up to help with the items and other stuff that a non-Japanese speaking person such as myself could benefit from?

The "han" as in Gohan.

I'm pretty sure someone has pointed out a site already, though it's a shame that this guy uses dub terms, Fasha and the such. :? (It just got updated today, coincidentally.) You know, questions of this kind would be much better fitted in the Help Thread.

That's the site I was trying to remember in the help thread SonEric.

Yeah I know, you're right. I already talked about this in the help thread with Humpski and he said someone had posted the link in here...I looked through and couldn't find it, so I asked again. I know you were just trying to be helpful but I've been here for a while and know the ropes of this place fairly well. :P Thanks a lot though.

Edit: Whoops, now I feel even more stupid, apparently someone had already posted it in the help thread and somehow I overlooked it. Thanks and sorry! Also, I hope my paragraph above didn't come off as rude as it was not at all my intention. Thank you again!

Characters still have blue bars. I fought a few people in story mode that had them. And also, I don't know if it's been said but DragonBall characters can fly now. There's a capsule that allows any character to fly. I gave it to Kid Goku and now he doesn't sink slowly to the ground anymore, he stays up in the air. And about Broly's ring, to me it sounds like it just makes the wearer not transform.

Oh sorry if I didn't explain the bars properly.
Blue bars exist, but not anymore like in BT2.
In story mode you can have blue bars and in VS. by doing fusion with two characters with "Kaio's Training".
But each "single character" can only have green bars, at least you cannot have a full or nearly "maxed out" lifebar anymore like in BT2, so fights last much shorter all in all.

I'm glad they beefed up Dodoria and Zarbon, they look fun to play as. And a big "WOW" for monster Zarbon's ultimate. That looks painful.

These pics are a bit long overdue, but here are pics of my DBZ Sparking Meteor Wii version..

Image

The game, manual, cover, and extra junk.

Image

The game working on my modded wii.

Image

The manual. It's just the standard fare of the PS2 sparking manuals. Nothing really interesting to be honest.

Oh yeah, my friend code is 532689724384... not like there will be anyone I can play against till I get the US version anyways.

Is that the Wii's friend code or does each game have it's own?

Well, the item that lets everyone fly will please everyone now. The people who wants to let the DragonBall characters be 'realistic' can let them sink slowly, those who want flying characters can use the item.

Re: Broli's ring
If you're in say duel mode and want to fight the computer, or do a Com Vs Com, could you equip this to the computer characters? (I could think of a few instances where you'd not want the computer to transform... XD)

... I'm really getting irritated at the weirdass typoes I'm making today. -.-

Each game has it's own. I assume it'll be like that for the US version too.
