Toyotaros Zamasu was very different iirc.

If those Kaioshins are from the erased Universes then well I expect Jiren to win the ToP then wish for all Universes to revive(including the ones Zeno destroyed in the past).

The only Zamasu I recall is the one Toriyama corrected which was basically the same as he is now except that he had a smaller sparser mohawk. Did he have other concept sketches?

Piccolo and 17 vs U3 sounds like a good idea.

But I really hope Katopesla is the last one standing for U3. Like the guy's a survivor, he needs to stay longer imo

Katopesla needs to somehow make it into the final 10 as U3's last fighter. Outnumbered and outclassed, but still as confident as ever.

I bet he will, I think the point of the character is that he's a survivor

He might but we know from the manga his wish is something that goes against his character. In fact he didn't even care about his own universe potentially being erased. So it would take a typical scenario of Goku impacting him to change his wish.

Now before anyone says they are different mediums....i understand that. It very well could be different in the anime. I just feel like a plot point like that would carry over.

If they did not leave today, I believe that by the 7th they should leave (by Animage).
This is bad because we usually have two different versions of the synopses in the month, but now we're only having one

Guys, dont forget that Toei is knowing for backpedaling and character regression.

And Gohan wont go out until he gets his big moment, Obuni and the Namekians werent Gohan big moments, it would probably be him fighting Dyspo.

They could have easily extended the fight against Saonel and Pirina.

Beating Saonel and Pirina is a bigger achievement than beating Dyspo who ran away from Final Form Frieza. If you can catch the Rabbit then he is finished.

Nah to beat dyspo u need the right abilities to counter his speed boost
Plus him not fighting Freeza doesn't mean much cause he still isn't in peak shape from fighting hit and Maji kayo

You know what, it was a good decision not extending Gohan/Piccolo vs Saonel and Pirina, because DBS just jobbed to Pokemon

We probably won't get to know anything about jiren until his rematch with goku. Do you guys think it was smart for the anime to basically make him nothing but a walking powerhouse up til this point or would it have been smarter to go into his actual character during episodes 109-111 or even pre tournament? At this point I know a lot of about u2 and u6 characters but anime wise don't know anything about jiren which makes me disappointed

Do you guys think it was smart for the anime to basically make him nothing but a walking powerhouse up til this point or would it have been smarter to go into his actual character during episodes 109-111 or even pre tournament? At this point I know a lot of about u2 and u6 characters but anime wise don't know anything about jiren which makes me disappointed

They absolutely should have done more to build his character so that there's some kind of chemistry or dynamic relationship in this showdown they're slowly dragging their way back to. Something more than "this guy is strong and a clown told him to kick Goku's ass once."

I think he'll be fine he seems to have Ribrianne levels of durability in that he constantly fights stronger people and doesn't get knocked out by them. At the very least he'll survive until the episode focused on U3.

This probably most likely what's going to happen next episode. Because Vegeta does go super saiyan next episode and I'm doubtful its against Katopelsa, unless he transformed again.

It was probably not the smartest idea. Taking into consideration the manga bothered to show some of Jiren's background during the recruitment period, I grew interested in him right away, something the anime failed to do (and for many other characters) despite he's the new hype guy Goku must overcome. The anime focused on Toppo instead, exploring more of his personality and occupation long before the tournament began, and that's why I find him much more interesting.
